Weren't Bulldog and Luger lined up for a feud before the latter jumped to WCW right after SummerSlam '95?

Like Santino with his Honk-A-Meter. That's Honk-A-Perfect-Mountie-Meter to you. Which I believe lasted exactly one week because it debuted the night he lost the title to Regal. I could be wrong. Either way it was highly entertaining and I was sad when it ended.

Batista vs. Mark Henry seemed to been planned as a Storyline but Batista got hurt. When Batista came back, Henry got hurt. By the time they both got healthy the shipped passed.
There was going to been a LOT more I recall for Raw GM and King of the ring William Regal but was scrapped when Regal failed Wellness. Speaking of Wellness I'm sure there was more for RVD as Champion if that didn't happen.
I wonder what the real plan for Finn Balor as Universal champion was had he not screwed up his shoulder during the match with Seth for it.
I mean injuries killed a lot of storylines or cut them short.

Chris Benoit v CM Punk was supposed to be a feud right? Of course Benoit’s death put an en...you get the idea.

I may be misremembering this one, but didn't Raven have a whole "seven deadly sins" angle on Heat abruptly cut short in late 2002 to suddenly appear once stalking Test and Stacy on Raw and then neither storyline was ever mentioned again? Yep, from what I remember Raven saying it was supposed to play out like Seven with Matt Hardy in the role of Brad Pitt and Lita as Gwyneth Paltrow, thankfully without her head in a box. I dunno why they dropped it but I think Vince's general disdain for Raven might have something to do with it.

I was hoping The Shield vs The Wyatt family would have been a long term feud as it would have kept Bray away from John Cena at WrestleMania 30.

I'm trying to remember, was it this era that they teased Wyatts vs The Authority or was that around Mania 32? I know at some point there was a very specific plan for where the end game was a Wyatts face turn and we did get something of a Triple H - Bray stare-down, but it's all kind of blurring together for me right now.

It didn't really become a storyline ever but I did think Bryan saying he was gonna cash in at WM28 was gonna actually happen. But then he cashed in at TLC.

At one point I seem to remember them hinting at a Brock Lesnar-Bray Wyatt feud which never went anywhere. I think that could've been amazing if done right. Here you have Brock Lesnar as the ultimate straight-forward badass shoot fighter against a crazy swamp preacher with an army of monsters and possible supernatural powers. Would have made a great theatrical match if nothing else.

Shane McMahon and His Lockbox seemed to be building to something bigger after Wrestlemania, then pffffftt and he ends up running Raw anyway.

Illegitimate McMahon storyline was to conclude with HHH/Kennedy at Mania 24. As usual, Kennedy either got injured or suspended and the angle was dropped and Benoit's death put kibosh to dead Vince angle where he and Kennedy were in it all along.
These below not reported anywhere, but I'm fairly sure
1. Jeff Hardy was supposed to win the MITB at WM 24 and cash it on the same night on Orton. He was ridiculously over and Orton/Hardy feud was hot until the bummer of a match at Rumble. iirc, Hardy qualified for mitb, but got suspended during the build and that was that.
2. Original match for PC mania is Edge & Orton vs The Club. AJ was injured during the rumble and they had to switch their storylines around. Edge/Orton would have happened eventually, probably around Summerslam

The whole Drew/Sheamus storyline felt like it got sped through super fast once they decided to have Lashley be the Mania opponent.

The Two-Man Power Trip. Triple H tore his quad and then the Invasion took center stage. I don't think that was lasting much longer even without the injury. They were already showing signs of dissension in the final few weeks when Austin "accidentally" cost HHH the IC title at Judgment Day then the next night on Raw in that famous tag match HHH "accidentally" hit Austin with the sledgehammer. It seemed to be leading to a break up and heel Austin vs. face HHH at KOTR or Summerslam. IIRC before the Invasion, the *Original* plan was to hold out and have face HHH vs Heel Austin at Mania 18. Don't ask me how they'd stretch it, but that was the thinking

I expected DiBiase to go after Big John Studd somehow after he screwed up his "buying No. 30" scheme at the 1989 Rumble. Not a thing.
