NFL Draft owned the night. Yeah, I was about to ask what would have happened to get that drop but that makes sense.

Wonder if they should have just punted the week and save the main event for another week

Wonder if they should have just punted the week and save the main event for another week Yeah, seems like a weirdly uncritically thing to do on WWE's end. Just have Bryan and Jey fight again or have Bryan beat Roman in a tag to set up this match for the week after or something like that.

It's not a bad number all things considered. Even though it was going against rounds 2 and 3 as opposed to round 1, the NFL draft is still a big deal.

Final number - 2.018 million viewers and 0.49 in 18-49 which is the lowest since August 7th. I know it was up against some of the NFL draft but when you advertise a match that big, you expect to at least hold the average you've had. I mainly blame them doing so many stipulations that haven't mattered that fans didn't really buy this that much.

They had an under 2 million number in February. I think the demo drop can be pretty easily attributed to the draft.

Your arguably top booked non Lesnar guy of the last 8 years putting his world title on the line against a Hall Of Fame Babyface even without a stipulation like retirement not being able to pop the ratings means almost nothing should be able to.

The draft definitely had an effect for sure but I figured the card would offset that either to an average number or even a little higher, especially since RAW ended up holding up better than expected against Monday Night Football.

I was also expecting it to do at least a little better, but SD has been so repetitive and dull lately I wonder if that also had something to do with it.
