Quite a few awesome composers were left off this list.
I truly believe that the LOTR trilogy would have been less enjoyable without the incredible scores that Howard Shore composed for that film.
And Hans Zimmer is one of my favorite composers of all time. If I need to study, I pop in the Gladiator soundtrack. If I'm driving on a long trip, I make sure that The Rock soundtrack is in my car. And his collaboration with James Newton Howard (The Village, Signs) was nothing short of brilliant for Batman Begins.
