Simon is too unstoppable. Whats the point of having a show when you know he just gonna spank Dracula left and right with his unstoppable thighs and wiggly whip? I would guess thats why they skip over him. That’s honestly what I’d kind of mark out for: the entire season is just “Castlevania appears, Simon walks up to it the very same night, enters, beats the ever-loving shit out of everything, leaves, castle crumbles, roll horror movie star parody credits.” Simon rules. All seriousness, though, I know they won’t, but if they did try to adapt the CV 64 games into a season, they seriously have one of the darker stories in the entire series, it could work. But there’s also a chance to do something with the Bloodlines setting, which could tie in with the original Stoker novel...though Countess Elizabeth would probably be too close a parallel to Carmilla.

But the most important question is this:
How jealous will Maria be of other ladies' chests?

If they don't use Simon from The Captain N Series than what is even the point of having this?

Also... *Netflix goes from Trevor Belmont's story to Richter Belmont's.* Simon Belmont: Am I a joke to you? Honestly thought process is probably just that Simon doesn't give a lot of material. His story pretty much begins and ends at, "What a horrible night to have a curse." This is old so I don't know why I'm responding now... but.. Simon's story begins with him entering Castlevania and killing Dracula... which is what curses him.

Kind of half-hoping that the serious would continue to SoTN, and like the game there's a fight with fake versions of Trevor and Sypha.

P.S. Probably won't happen yet on the upcoming season... but later on if they don't have "die monster, etc" and "what is a man?!", I'll be disappointed.

Watched through season one, and it had a lot of interesting stuff, but its pace felt off compared with the Trevor seasons. A lot of flashbacks, a few too many moments of telling instead of showing, big bad showing up and going god-mode without it feeling like there was much build, etc. Totally get the themes it's going for, but it felt like it could've used a little more room to breathe with its first season given how many characters there are this time around and the development they needed; eight episodes might've just not quite been enough.
