Netflix Geeked's correction of that blurb by adding "great great great ... grand" before "son" was pretty funny, as Trevor and Richter's adventures are some 300 years apart.
Also I'm all in for a Rondo of Blood series. And that comes with the distinct possibility of a SOTN season or sequel series.

I assume they are gonna age up or otherwise dramatically change Maria. From what I know of ROB, she's basically a magical girl anime protagonist in a Castlevania game.

Also...
*Netflix goes from Trevor Belmont's story to Richter Belmont's.*
Simon Belmont: Am I a joke to you?

Simon is too unstoppable. Whats the point of having a show when you know he just gonna spank Dracula left and right with his unstoppable thighs and wiggly whip? I would guess thats why they skip over him.

Yeah, even in later remakes and retellings of Simon's adventures, they're very barebones in terms of plot. Not much of a supporting cast either since Simon goes it alone.

I would've done a bit of fan-fiction on Simon and have him trying to locate Dracula's castle and helping people on the way while we witness Dracula's ressurrection and takeover. Then a big battle with some of the people Simon saved and Drac's minions while Simon goes against the tooth himself. Heck, those people may even all die at the end of the battle and we can get Simon making an oath to never let Drac back so that their sacrifices weren't in vain and do it on the souls of his ancestors and descendants or something so we get even more of a connection between the Belmonts and Dracula.

I could see them aging up Maria to her SOTN design/age if they want to avoid her being like, 12 in Rondo of Blood. Plus if they do go with the SOTN followup, she'd be in her early 20's instead of 17 like in the game. It'd make any flirtations between her and Alucard a lot less creepy.

Netflix Alucard is still a immature teenager in a sense so it will be interesting to see how he has grown up in the 300 years especially considering how S4 ended

Really cool, and can’t wait. So just like how the first series covered the stories from the games Dracula’s Curse and Curse of Darkness, these might cover reimaginings of Rondo of Blood, then Symphony of the Night. Really curious too how the French Revolution historical backdrop will figure in.
I wonder if they’ll keep this pattern up and later do a set of seasons based on Aria of Sorrow/Dawn of Sorrow (the only other pair of CV games I can think of which formed one story followed by a sequel, and which featured Alucard).

Alucard: *Yawn!* "Well that was a good nap... Now that I've slept on it, I think I can finally start to move on from my Dad's-" *Sees Castlevania has risen in the distance.* "OH F*** ME!!!"

Simon's quest is also pretty much just exactly Trevor's minus the sidequest... save for Dracula's Curse whcih he was still alone but there was him walking around towns <_< I guess you could have shown more of what the curse entailed and such... but still.

So, at some point we getting Lords of Shadows right? The original series already referenced Leon Belmont, so it looks like they’re going with the original canon of Lament of Innocence as the origin of the saga, rather than Lords of Shadow. EDIT: which I like, since I consider Lament of Innocence a criminally underrated game which deserves a better legacy than it got.

Well, I meant more as a spinoff series I assume they cover everything in Castlevania as long as the show is still reviewing well

I'd love to see them do a series about 1999's events. It'd be familiar since it's referenced a lot in the Sorrow games, but still an entirely original story.
