Riddle’s attorney didn’t issue a statement because he lost his post-it notes.

Should be said, before the discussion kicks off, this doesn't mean that Riddle didn't do what he was accused off nor does it mean Riddle did what he was accused of.
It was likely more because court stuff is expensive which says a lot about the court system that can't be really talked about here without going into a lot of stuff.
Carry on.

Also should be said that "innocent until proven guilty" is not a moral judgment, but an assumption made by some adversarial legal systems (like America's) to protect people from the state and keep trials fair, and that a lack of legal judgment does not mean anythign about Riddle, nor the ability of individuals to have their own judgments on the matter.

Don't matter to some people, cause they're going to assume he was innocent the whole time. Court of public opinion and all that. Frankly, I'll just write it off as "perhaps there was evidence, but not really worth going to trial over due to costs". It is what it is.

I say this without trying to make either sound guilty, but it was probably dropped because Candy couldn't afford to fight it. That doesn't mean Riddle is necessarily guilty either so please don't take that as anything to either of them one way or another. Just stating that the legal system is expensive.
Hopefully nothing actually took place and both can be happy and neither have further legal issues

Regardless of whether Riddle did it or not, this was probably the best case option for him. Given he had an affair with her, who knew what could come out in court if they went to trial.

"Riddle denied the allegations but did confirm an affair with Cartwright." Yeah, after claiming that it never happened and that she was just a crazy stalker, until others corroborated that she was telling the truth. Screw Matt Riddle, his idiot lawyer and the people financing him.

Nah, his wife's ride or die enough to make a sockpuppet twitter to try and attack and discredit her. Some people really do put the blame for their partners cheating exclusively onto whoever they did the cheating with, and I imagine nothing could come out about Matt that'd make his wife do anything but keep lashing out at other people instead.

Going after WWE in the start doomed her I'd imagine. Extremely dumb moved on her/her lawyer's side.
That said the whole thing was he said/she said so this going away isn't shocking. A long drawn out court battle would have been costly for both sides with no good coming from it. People would believe what they wanted no matter the outcome, just like now.

Guilty, Innocent. Either way I'm still gonna make fun of him.

The person with the most money wins, that's how the legal system works.

Now we know who will be winning this Sunday. As shitty as this situation has been and how badly Riddle has come off with it (Whether or not the worst of it is true I guess we'll never actually know) Riddle has gotten way over with his Randy teamup... so he was kinda one of the favorites to win anyway just based on how well he was doing. I'm personally still rooting for Big E the most though

Chalk up another a win for “I Can’t Believe It’s A Law Firm”. Where did you get your law degree? Sorry but I'm not a fan of riddle but I work in law. All you couch lawyers who don't see evidence or discovery automatically take the side of the plaintiff based on WHAT exactly? Some screenshots? All the people who share this view need to sit down, shut up and live their lives or stop watching the product, because you know zero about law.

I was just making a Lionel Hutz joke. 🤷🏻♂️ way ahead of you on the not watching the product part though.
