Fantasy booking ahoy!
How do you play out the next year with those two on the roster?
Something tells me Omega and heck maybe even Mox may factor into some of your plans.

Punk will have to start out as a face but I think he'll have a lot more juice if he turns heel fairly quickly.

I feel like you basically have to do Bryan / Kenny at the first PPV that gives you the opportunity. Not sure on Punk though I'd start him off with someone who can take the lead given how out of practice he is.

Getting the belt off Kenny and onto Hangman might be a real blessing. It means you can run the Kenny/Bryan dream match without the title getting in the way.
A slow start for Punk seems like a good idea, too. I might even be tempted to orchestrate a reason for him to be in a tag team for the first couple of months, just so he can find his feet in the ring again.

I think Punk has Ethan Page as a starter heel that he can go back and forth with.
Punk vs. Pinnacle probably happens next, because MJF going to town on Punk would be a good way to lance the boil of Punk's more mockable traits. (You know that MJF has a "Punk in MMA" promo just at the ready.)
Malakai Black might also be a good heel for him, depending on the timing and how each is being built at the same time.
After that? Like Evil Chops said, he turns heel pretty fast, because he will probably have some A+ feuds with the likes of Hangman, Darby Allin, Santana and Ortiz, Sammy Guevara...
Just keep him away from Cody Rhodes, please, I think the combined melodrama might make some rings explode.
Bryan Danielson? My favorite wrestler of all time? Dunno on that one. When a guy can have a banger up and down the card with just about anybody, what matches I want to see become really dependent on what character he comes in with. Lee Johnson might be the opponent I most want to see in a program with Bryan, but that feels like it's because Johnson could really use something of substance and Bryan can bring attentive eyes to Johnson looking great.

Have them come out in masks and body costumes as the Super Wingman 1 and 2, with the Wingmen on Dark every week for a month. Let things happen as they will.

AEW gets 3 guys to fight these invaders. At the end of the match Orange Cassidy enters the ring and is revealed as the 3rd Man.
Punk, Bryan, and Cassidy form a faction called MEN : Main Event Nation.
Sting watches from the rafters but does nothing.
uhh...my creativity has come to a screeching halt.

Bryan vs Kenny in Kenny's first feud away from the belt. Continues his spiral and can possibly lead to Kenny taking time off when he loses
Punk can basically do whatever the hell he wants to do. Upper card feud absolutely. First match should probably be against someone trusted. Angelico maybe? Christian might be a big eye getter of a first match but maybe they don't want Christian to lose yet.
Punk vs Makalai Black or Andrade would slap.

Bryan's easy, we all know what he wants and it's the best use for him too: extended matches against all the main workrate guys in AEW. He's probably willing to lose them all, but might as well let him go over Omega and the Bucks before putting over somebody who needs it like Jungle Boy or Fenix so it'll mean something.
Punk's tougher, because his matches were never his big draw and I can't see him wanting to stick around for more than a couple feuds, and from everything he's said I doubt he'd sign up at all unless they'd already hammered out exactly what those are going to be. Oh, and depending what side of the bed he's woken up on today he might already have irreconcilable grudges against various roster members for reasons nobody else can discern. All I'd say for certain is put him up against heels and insist he works as a face, because no one on god's green earth is going to boo him no matter how hard he tries to get heel heat.

I honestly have more faith in Bryan than Punk. Punk has a lot of years of ring rust and ring cardio to bring back. So hed need to stay off tv for a bit. Bryan however I'd book him against Omega or Hangman there's no chance of him starting at the bottom rung of the ladder

I don’t think the worst idea is to debut them as a tag team. Though I highly doubt they would. Bucks retain at All Out only to have those two run in would be sweet. That tag match can then headline the Grand Slam show in Arthur Ashe.
From there, you easily set up Kenny vs Danielson.
Punk is trickier to book from there. I think his obvious feuds are Cody and MJF. Alesiter Black would probably be a great in ring opponent for Punk too. But I don’t know how to get their from my tag, which Inguess causes an issue.
I would really love to see it though. Here’s hoping.

They’re both booked as Maki Itoh’s Man-Servants and backup singers.

They take the top spots from home grown stars. And then steal the show.

As someone already said it's basically like seeing a top star hit free agency... you don't always ask about the plan first... you GET them first because getting them is good enough before anything else
That being said Bryan and Punk sell themselves... and I doubt Khan signs them without a plan to bring them in anyway.

I realize it's been done with the Mox debut, but after Hangman beats Omega, "Cult of Personality" plays and Punk comes out and hits a GTS on Omega, before grabbing the mic and saying "The real 'Best in the World' decided to come out of retirement" I'd slate Daniel Bryan in with the TNT title as the guy who beats Miro by outsmarting him and outwrestling him.

Have them be this generation's "The Outsiders" and run with it. They've got the legacy, skills, promos, you can run that angle for years. Just have them invade and boom have fun. Don't actually put them in the same predicaments and scenarios as other wrestlers, keep them separate and you've got a new sub-section of things you can do.

Pretty much anything they’d do could be interesting. Bryan moreso than Punk at this specific time, but that’s just down to Punk being gone from wrestling for so long.
My only condition is that Hangman beats Omega to win the world title first, not either of these two.

Realistically I don’t think they come in as a duo.
Punk definitely needs to establish early dominance and come off as big of a star as possible and then proceed to make as many guys as possible. And Punk can do that via losses, wins and just promo time alone.
