Yeah, Hogan founded the Rat Pack, but gave Frank the credit, with the plan being Frank would return the favor down the road. He was originally supposed to face Hogan at Halloween Havoc, but backed out claiming he died.

I clicked on this thread thinking Hogan had tweeted out birthday wishes to Sinatra, being blissfully unaware that he passed away 23 years ago.

You know Dude, I actually wrote 'New York, New York' brother. In front of 750,000 fans at MSG dude, I hit a 450 splash on Bundy...and when i'm upside down coming off the top rope I suddenly see Sinatra sitting in the front row brother, and after the match I quickly wrote down the words and gave them to him dude.
Later Sinatra thanked me and said Hulk brother, I'd never have made it without you dude.

How many records did he sell last year? Hogan? Let me tell you, brother, the charts, dude, they aren't made for counting the millions of albums the Hulkster moves, dude! Recording Industry: What'cha gonna do when Hulk Hogan destroys you!?!?

Rat Pack? Let me tell you something, brother. When Rukus was tearing it up, they called us the Rat Pack, dude. You asked anyone in Port Tampa who those other jabronies were, you’d just get blank stares, Jack. We were bigger than KISS, The Stones. We were about to take the country by storm, dude. Frank Sinatra was just trying to keep his name relevant at this point, brother

I clicked on this thread thinking Hogan had tweeted out birthday wishes to Sinatra, being blissfully unaware that he passed away 23 years ago. Wouldn’t be the first time, he tweeted out a pic of him and Bam Margera and how much he missed him since he died…he meant Dunn. Not that Bam is doing well now anyway.

Let me tell you something, Mean Gene, Frankie and I were friends in the old days, close as brothers, brother, back on the beaches of Florida! He, Sammy, Bruti, Saggs and Dean were known as the Jacked Pack because of our physiques, brother, and used to do whatever we like. I told Frankie that 'whatever we do, we do it our way, Jack!' and he wrote a song about it, unfortunately it sounded too much like one Paul Anka wrote the lyrics for years earlier.
