So after an autocorrect mistake on my phone I now call this move the Judy's Effect so enjoy that
I have enjoyed a lot of Jericho's work in AEW, but I have also been very critical of him, particularly when it comes to his ring work.
The Juvi match was nothing to write home about, but that flying Judy's Effect finish made me mark the f*** out. I hope he keeps that as a nuclear option for some opponents in the future, because I just thought that spot ruled.

Relatively unrelated, but I really like the Judas Effect as a finisher and how it's managed to get over as an effective killshot. With Jericho slipping into the twilight of his career they should have him bequeath it to one of PnP

I'm not sure finishing matches is something he's going to be worrying about too much, I'm 99% sure the MJF match will be his retirement match. Especially as he's now been announced as a commentator too.

If he makes it a regular part of his arsenal he should call it the Juvi effect.

The AEW game should definitely have this move.

It was pretty cool, though it is sort of comical that the Judas Effect has been utter death consistently but Juventud got up from the first one to get hit with the second then got up again to get beaten up by Wardlow. Dude probably should've been in a coma.

The match itself was..a passable affair. Given their ages, it was a nice little nostalgia trip.
But the finish was picture perfect. Jericho connected beautifully and Juvi sold it like he got ran over by a car.

You know, I didn’t even realize until some wrestling podcaster I was watching mentioning ...Jericho always use to do this move lol. It was a nothing move. I think I even remembered it in some of the PS2 Smackdown games.
But now, w/ the Judas effect, it’s a killer! I loved it.
Jericho’s in ring work is deteriorating but stuff like the hurricarana to Gage on the glass and this makes me think he has a wrestling guardian Angel helping him absolutely nail a move from time to time.

I just stopped by to say that I called it. But actually, that was a pretty sweet move. I wondered how well he would pull it off, and it was pretty crisp.

As long as Jericho shows up for a match in shape, he's okay to good in ring. I really appreciate the way he's figured out how to work around father time. As far as I know, he's the oldest member of the roster and definitely the one with the most miles on his body.

Christopher Daniels (51), Dustin Rhodes (52), Dr. Luther (52), Billy Gunn (57), and Sting (62) are all older than Jericho. In terms of placement on the card, though, he is the oldest main eventer they have.

I guess it's where Sting is somewhat infrequent, and Billy Gunn looks like he found the fountain of youth.

I'm not a big Jericho fan and I even popped because I was expecting something normal(frog splash, crossbody, etc,)
also now when MJF kicks out of it, it should get a big reaction!

He couldn't have hit it any better, twas a thing of beauty. And damn impressive as he's getting older, and his mobility isn't what it used to be.
Also props to Juvi for being in the exact spot he needed to to make it look so damn good.

Dude plays to his strength's too. Like he's not insanely mobile anymore but he plays a good hoss role with his sons If he makes it to 2025 (At this rate he might) he will have wrestled 40 YEARS.

Billy Gunn is nearly 60.
Go ahead and Google Terry Funk at 45 and just reflect for a minute on what Satanic pact Gunn is part of.
