Let's see how well this will age.
So who do you got? Who's going to be the last one standing in World Wrestling Entertainment?
Nick Khan (0-0-0) - President & Chief Revenue Officer of WWE
vs.
Triple H (442-352-73) - Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy Development and COO for WWE. He is also the founder and executive producer of NXT.
Place your bets now.

Nick Khan's ilk don't stay with a single company for long. He'll strip-mine WWE into the ground to maximize investor profit, then declare bankruptcy and/or sell it off to other equity vultures, then move on to the next opportunity to do the same thing. Hunter's the one with nothing else besides wrestling who'll be left to pick up the pieces.

It's hard to think H is going anywhere unless this is all for a sale.

Hatchet men Managers don't last long term.
They either leave the company cashing out whatever they have invested, or fired when the higher ups realize that they basically destroyed their output/work flow by having too few employees now.

Like I said in the releases thread, he's got a clear mission coming into the company, and that is cutting costs and saving money by any means necessary. Once his X amount of money has been achieved, he'll collect his bonuses and move onto the next company who brings him in for the same purpose.
Hunter will only leave the company if Vince officially hands off controlling shares to someone outside of the family, and not a minute sooner. He's invested over 25 years of his professional life into the WWE, and married into the owner's family (I'd hope people realize he didn't do this for politics, he truly loves his wife and will support the family business as long as she and her father do).

I figure Khan will be gone within a year or two after he's made his money.

Khan is a chainsaw in a business suit. Those rarely last long, and they bounce around from company to company.

Triple H outlasts him, but that's probably by design.
Yeah, I don't doubt Triple H is frustrated, but while I am sure he sees NXT as his legacy in some respects, I don't think he's likely anywhere near as torn up about the releases as people expect, barring ones like Samoa Joe he was willing to try to intervene with. Nick was hired to do something specific, and he's doing it.
I honestly wonder a bit if WWE's pulling shady shit, and freeing up a lot of cash quickly isn't to sell, but to take the sting off, like when the original Saudi deal supposedly brought in much less money than hoped for, while also being something investors were given the runaround on getting clear details on. We also have the... creative bookkeeping of Vince's powerful friends his wife had dealings with, and how that, too, went to pot.

Where else is Triple H going to go? Home, and be a family man.

Triple H, not because of politics or anything, but Khan will move onto bigger things.

Triple H. He worked hard to get where he is and I think he'll cling onto any power he has left. They'll have to drag him out of the performance centre.
Khan is only there for a year or two. Do the job, get paid, move on.

Hunter's the one with nothing else besides wrestling who'll be left to pick up the pieces. Nick Khan cannot sell the company. He is an employee hired by Vince McMahon who owns most of the stock. Vince is the only one who could sell the company. And if Vince dies without selling all of that stock his children will own it so they could then sell the company or they could fire Khan and run the company how they choose.

Triple H. guys like Nick Khan don't tend to stay in the same place for long. he'll leave as soon as someone else gives him a better offer. Vince sure as f*** isn't leaving the company to him.

Khan is smart enough to ditch the sinking ship before it goes under, especially since he's the one who blew a hole in the bottom to begin with. He'll make out the best of anyone.

So...comments unanimously say Hunter will outlast Khan, yet it's only a 2:3 voting lead. Any of those saying Khan care to share why?

I think it really depends on Triple H's contract, if he can't work for a wrestling company for like 5 years after leaving the WWE I think he sticks it out but if they don't have that clause in there I could see him going off and doing his own thing for a while and making the brand he wants

Weirdly I'm starting to think HHH and Stephanie might long term win vis-a-vis the WWE. They aren't in control of the future now, but Vince is old, Khan is short term and a sale seems 50/50 at best. Eventually someone needs to pick up the pieces, and if Shane wanted that, he'd have shown some signs of it in the past 20 years.
imo in about 15 years time, WWE will be have Stephanie as Chairman, HHH in charge of the booking/TV/wrestlers, and enough trusted financial people in the big positions so the shareholders don't freak out.
