I don't cry when my dog runs away, I don't get angry at the bills I have to pay I don't get angry when my mom smokes pot, hits the bottle then goes right to the rocks F*** it, fight it, it's all the same To live with who we love's the only way to stay sane Let the lovin', let the lovin' come back to me......
Yeah, I dig Sublime.

Sublime is alright. They're a little overrated...but that's just my opinion anyway.
I like a few of their songs here and there, but not one of my favourites.

Our local"alternative" radio station has played all their "hit" songs so much i can not hardly listen to them anymore. The rest of the music on their cd's though i love. Although Date Rape will never get old. That song is great. Same in the end is by far my favorite song though.

My friend is a big fan of them (no duh he's from Long Beach ;D). They're a little played out but I still have a fondness for them. My favorite songs from them are "STP" and "April 29,1992".

Sublime do indeed kick all kinds of ass. I've worn out 3 copies of that CD with Doin Time, Caress me Down, and The Wrong way on it... Great music, all should listen to them

They have some really good live stuff. I have a couple of bootlegs from various shows and a CD I'm not even sure was authorized by anybody from the Firecracker Lounge. The live versions of Pool Shark are awesome. The only thing about Pool Shark I don't like is how it reminds me of an ex, but oh well. Still a kickass song. The punk version which isn't even a minute long is really good too.
One of the other good songs of theirs is the erie splendor remix of Doin Time. It has Mad Lion on it, but it's a great song if you ever get a chance to listen to it. It was from the second hand smoke album. That same one also has Drunk Drivin which is pretty funny and the vastly underrated Superstar Punani.
As much as I like the songs from the self titled one, it doesn't compare to the earlier stuff at all.

I'm a huge Sublime fan. Easily one of my top 20 bands of all time.

The Rancid guy's were involved with Sublime? Are you sure? Nope, it turns out i was thinking about Operation Ivy instead. And na i never really liked Rancid, they're ok to listen to but they really don't do it for me. Plus Tim Armstrong's voice is horrible.

I liked them but hate hearing the same songs all the time. Especially at the local bar I go to. I'm not sure exactly when it happened but Sublime somehow got turned into a Frat Rock band along the way so it makes me dislike hearing the songs when idiot frat guys are singing them loudly and off key.
Not that all frat guys are idiots but you know what I mean. I'm talking about the guys who show up at Less Than Jake shows and start fights for no reason whatsoever.
P.S.
Doin Time is my LEAST favorite Sublime song.
*Edit*
I got to see Rancid do an acoustic version of "Sound System" and an electric version of "Knowledge" when I saw them in August. Amazing.
