Yeah, yeah, Ryback, dropkick, of course.
Speaking of Ryback though, how about that time he and Cena went to a draw in a Last Man Standing match despite the fact Ryback was standing and Cena wasn't?

Vince Russo winning the WCW title by being speared through the Hell in a Cell structure to the floor as Booker T was leaving it.
The time Vince Russo no sold Flair's Figure 4 waiting for gimmmick blood to fall from the ceiling which iirc was both late and wrongly placed so it hit fans instead.
WCW had a lot of these. The time an absolutely gushing red Ric Flair won a first blood cage match by pinning Hulk Hogan after interference because they booked a 50 year old Ric Flair in a first blood match and he started gushing hardway from a single bump 20 seconds into a 20 minute match...

It hit some fans when Kevin Nash was supposed to get it. It happened twice, once on a taped Thunder and also on a live Nitro. On the Thunder episode, they managed to fix it somewhat in editing, but WWE put up the unedited version that showed how it just completely missed him. Here's the edited version: youtu.be/6l7p-3SFhhQ?t=144

Bam Bam Bigelow being counted out in a falls count anywhere match. Also that time Curtis Axel beat Cena by count out in a no DQ match.

The time Road Dogg was wrestling William Regal and K-Kwik ran in and punched Regal for a DQ because it wasn't time for wrestling, it was time for RAPPING. And Road Dogg was fine with this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyVkWAL9kq4

A no contest in a Hell In A Cell match And WWE did it 2 years in a row! Kinda compounded by the fact they had Shane drop from the top of the f***ing cell in 2017 and still gave an actual finish - it makes 2018 and 2019's no-contests all the more egregious.

The finish of the KOTR 2001 main event confused me as a kid. The booking of the whole match is strange in fact. Austin is the heel yet all the odds are stacked against him and he overcomes them in the end.
- A triple threat match with one heel against two babyfaces. - The babyfaces double team him for large parts of the match. - Throughout the show there's a bunch of segments with Austin waiting on Vince to arrive to the arena, acting all paranoid and not being able to focus on the match until Vince arrives. Vince never arrives. Austin keeps looking to the entrance way throughout the match and the commentators keep going on about how he's not himself because he's too busy wondering where Vince is. So his mind isn't even fully on the match and he's still able to overcome the odds and win clean. - Booker T interferes in the match and puts Austin through the announce table so now he's being attacked by 3 people. - Benoit hits a back suplex off the top rope on Jericho, a move which he had never won a match with, and somehow it kept them both down forever and Austin crawled over to get the pin. No exaggeration, there's almost a full minute between the move being hit and the pinfall. They could kayfabe it in retrospect by saying Benoit hurt his neck but how was Jericho down and out for so long and couldn't break the pin? He'd taken that move a bunch of times and kicked out in under 3 seconds but now all of sudden it's completely incapacitating him.

Bam Bam Bigelow being counted out in a falls count anywhere match. That was the one I was thinking of and it led to this all time amazing rant from Vinny on the Bryan & Vinny Show. *STRONG LANGUAGE WARNING*

Sting hitting the back of his head on a chair while preforming his finisher. While I can see why some think this is a dumb finish, I kinda liked it I also disagree with the view that it makes STING look dumb as a character, because like... who the f*** could predict they'd hit their head on a chair like that? I'm half amazed Sting managed to set the spot up and do it successfully to be honest. A no contest in a Hell In A Cell match And WWE did it 2 years in a row! I remember joking around about them doing it before the second one, and then seeing online that they'd actually done it and cackling like a hyena. For my addition to the thread, because I reference it often: My first real exposure to wrestling was WCW Worldwide on Channel 5 in the UK, a bullshit show that was several months behind where the product actually was in real time, edited ineptly and highly neutered. Bearing this in mind, the main event of the first full show of wrestling I ever watched which has subsequently meant I am here now writing on this board as a fan of two decades plus, was a Hogan vs. Sid WCW title match that ended when Hogan pinned Rick Steiner somehow. I was hooked???

The finish being ridiculous and unfair to Hogan was the whole point. The ref was Lil Naich and the whole point of the angle was a double turn. I can't believe I'm defending that era of WCW, but there was a justified reason for it How about the multiple times that the Ultimate X fell and the inconsistent way that TNA handled it? That should have been an obvious thing to plan for

How many WCW finishes would you like?
No contest in a First Blood match?
A countout in a Falls Count Anywhere match?
How about the time they did a bullrope match where you had to touch all four corners, but Hogan still managed to win by pinfall? And then win AGAIN by touching the corners straight after?
Pinfall & a ref bump in a First Blood match? Yep
Then there was the time a match ended when someone who wasn't in the march pinned someone else who wasn't in the match.
How about the ladder match which had a special guest ref (no, it doesn't make any sense) who then interfered & sort of dangled the belt halfway up the ladder so Scott Hall could win after someone else had pulled it down?
