I'll give it a 3 for Edge / Rollins and Sheamus / Priest, but the rest of that show was just hilariously awful. I can't even be mad at it, from Becky on it was like the whole thing was a parody of WWE.
Tempted to go 2 for Brock being back though.

Wonky booking of Bianca aside, I enjoyed most of it.

I'm abstaining from voting just because I know people are gonna overshit on this show way more than it deserves. If Sasha had been able to compete, it would be very hard to complain about most of this show. The top matches delivered and some of the undercard did too.

I missed a lot of it, but Edge/Rollins was REALLY good but a lot of the booking is still uh baffling to say the least

I'm giving it a 3. Match of the night goes to Edge vs Rollins. Not pleased with Brock being back though.

Is it becoming that Summerslam is going to always be the worst PPV of the year?

I can’t rate this.
Besides a couple matches the show was awful but for team chaos, this was the best night in the history of the sport.
So many funny events. Lashley literally beat up a teenager after goldberg called for life alert. I cannot rate this show.

5/10.
There were a lot of bad decisions on the show. The card before the Smackdown Women's match was pretty good.

Is it becoming that Summerslam is going to always be the worst PPV of the year? Summerslam 2019 was better than Wrestlemania 35. At least to me.

I'll just copy what I put elsewhere and add that I gave it a 6:
I'm not gonna say it was great but I'm not going to call it one of the worst things ever either. The Triple Threat needed to end with Nikki winning, yes. Bianca should not have been slaughtered by Becky tonight, yes. The Goldberg injury angle was f***ed, yes. Lesnar coming back is, on the surface especially to an anti-Lesnar guy like me, really meh, yes. BUT. Damien Priest won big tonight. RKBRO may not be my cup of tea but hey, it's different. Edge vs. Rollins was 100% amazing. And the right people won both world title matches. And at least there's an interesting element in the Lesnar/Reigns rematch over where Heyman's loyalties lie. Was this the best show of the year for WWE? Of f***ing course not. But I'm not calling it the worst when there's some very real positives to be found. HIAC 2018 this was not.

If Sasha had been able to compete, it would be very hard to complain about most of this show. The top matches delivered and some of the undercard did too. I thought the show was trash and I turned it off after an hour or so. However, I will also abstain from voting just to prove that I'm not intentionally trying to bring the average down by giving it a 1.

Also it got kind of lost in everything else and it's not really worth making its own thread for but Alexa / Eva was really, really, really bad.

Went with a four. Edge/Rollins was great, Lesnar's return was awesome (for now), and Lashley murdering the Goldbergs was pretty cool. Before all of that I was pretty much being reminded of why I usually steer clear of WWE. Terrible show outside of the main angles.

4. Probably generous.
Since I started watching again in 2019 this was the worst PPV I've seen, so far. Priest Vs. Sheamus was the best match, I'd say. Triple Threat, Usos Vs. Mysterios, Edge Vs. Rollins, and Cena Vs. Reigns were good.
Can't believe what they did to Bianca. I don't get pissed about wrestling often but that really annoyed me. Nikki losing also sucked. The Miz, Morrison, Xavier segment was also terrible.
It just sucked.

7. Everything was really good up until Becky squashed Bianca. (but Becky's return was a great moment) Then the show got pretty boring until the second half of Edge/Seth. Then it picked back up. Really wish we got a cash in and a proper Becky/Bianca match, but I am intrigued to see what happens on the Smackdown side of things this Fall.

Good was good. Bad was very bad. Miz & Morrison getting eaten by zombies is actually now not their worst PPV moment of the year. 5.

Giving it a 9. Crazy night with the returns of The Man and Brock. I know some are upset about Bianca but I'm interested to see where they go from here. And it looks like Roman has to face the one man he's never convincingly beaten. Who will Paul Heyman side with?
Meanwhile Edge and Seth had a Match of the Year candidate and Lashley and Goldberg pulled out a surprisingly good match. And that post match beat down. So many intriguing possibilities coming out of this night. And the crowd was hot all night. Only disappointment was Charlotte winning AGAIN.
Between this and Punk it's been a great couple of days for Pro Wrestling.
