i liked it overall, just a few things i didn't like. principle one being Hawkeyes daughter. just didn't like her face at all. Also working having worked in construction for over 20 years (5 of those in demolition) there is no way that bell tower gets taken out by one arrow to the bell.

Kate turned out pretty well considering her mother is Norma Bates.

Kate turned out pretty well considering her mother is Norma Bates. And that experience with transforming robots.

They’re clearly hinting at Wilson Fisk being the big man behind everything.
Nice to see Hank Pym hooking up Hawkeye with some special arrows too.

Very fun episode. Renner and Steinfeld have fantastic chemistry, I hope we get to see more of it in future Marvel shows or movies.

The archer holding his own against a horde of alien invaders you bought into, but that was just too far fetched?

Assuming the events of Daredevil aren't ignored, it's probably safe to say Fisk didn't get blipped, served out whatever sentence he received, and strengthened his grip on the New York underworld.

Kate turned out pretty well considering her mother is Norma Bates. It's the time she spent singing with Anna Kendrick that made her chill

The conversation Matt, Foggy and Karen have at the end make it pretty clear that they believe Fisk is only in prison of his own volition as long as Vanessa's freedom is guaranteed and is perfectly capable of finding a way out if anything should happen to her. Given the events of Hawkeye take place about a decade after Daredevil's third season that's plenty of time for Fisk to arrange his own freedom.
But that's all irrelevant if Daredevil is rendered non-canon and this is a rebooted Kingpin, of course.

EDIT: It’s probably a lot easier to retcon the Netflix shows to fit the MCU then retcon aspects of the MCU to make everything from Netflix fit. Kinda makes The Defenders seem like dicks for never helping out considering they saw the Battle of New York.

My mum was a doctor and couldn't watch medical TV shows without pointing out what they were doing wrong. so I'm blaming it on a family trait. also, come on, the bell didn't have enough momentum to knock through those brick pillars and then down the entire length of the building. At best it would have got stuck in the arch at the top and possibly knocked out some brickwork/roof tiles, Mortar and Bricks are very sturdy once combined and set.

This week was better than episode two {Spoiler}Clint's struggles are exactly the kind of heartstrings you pull with Christmas dramas, the car chase was amazing but the trick arrow routine really dragged it down with comedy, the cliffhanger was a bit weak

I think there’s a good chance Matt got snapped because there’s no way he would have let the Ronin pull a Punisher. I think Kingpin went deep undercover during the 5 years and built his new empire and let him train Echo. Matt is no longer Daredevil but will put the mask back on eventually.

The tower could have been weak and needing repair. And the university banned ringing the bell until repairs were done which is why it was such a dare for her to find a way to ring it. Kate just either didnt know the reason for the ban or didnt think anything would actually happen.
