Ooooh, that takes me back. My parents taped the Sesame Street movie Follow That Bird off HBO way back when, and I distinctly remember the part of the intro starting around the 47-second mark. I recently rediscovered the movie on HBO Max. That movie was depressing. The 80s had all these movies with kids separated from their parents/families. Journey of Natty Gann, Empire of the Sun, even Sesame Street. Savannah Smiles was on more times than I can count.

Anyone watch this in HBO that time? Interesting trivia three of the first episodes were based on EC Comics chapters Tales From The Crypt, Vault Of Horror and Shock SuspensStories, and even more two of those episodes would be remade to Tales From The Crypt a decade later, specifically Came The Dawn and Split Personality. I watched it on USA. Hour block with Swamp Thing. I watched it on this block:

/it felt at one point that HBO before HBO Family became separate that they'd air Care Bears 2: A New Generation with a vengeance.

Just a bit of trivia, HBO Asia was a bit more censored than the Stateside one and some programs were unavailable in some Asian countries. Back in the Philippines in the 90s, if you wanted uncensored stuff there's this Japanese network called BS WOWOW which some considered Japanese HBO:
I got a question, any Canadians here, is the network First Choice like HBO? I only heard of it several times but never checked, didn't live there that day, some who did told me about it:
