What was the thing that caused you to retire in the first place? Neck troubles?
That’s funny because I saw you main event a PPV where you took an AVALANCHE ONE WINGED ANGEL!
Like, props to you, you’re a grown adult but that was mad, dude.

I think Edge is the one who had the "stupid neck" (thank you E&C podcast).
Christian was the concussion issues.

as far as I remember for Christian, it wasn't a neck injury specifically so much as multiple nagging injuries all over that put him on the shelf.

They went all out (pun intended) in that match. Like the crowd was exhausted once the match happened, but i thought Omega and Christian worked their asses off.

I feel kind of bad for Christian last night because he looked incredible and put on a hell of a match but everyone knew he was going to lose and that something big would happen after so he didn't really get much love and hardly anyone is talking about him. I'm sure he doesn't mind but damn.

I always thought it was concussion issues like Bryan It was. Edge retired due to spinal stenosis and Jay retired due to concussion issues.

I'm sure he doesn't mind but damn. Still main eventing a major PPV and likely getting paid accordingly in the twilight of his career. I doubt Christian is thinking on it too much.

Omega: Okay, but you don't-- Christian: Dude, I'm a TLC Originator, it's fine.

I think also being important enough to pin Kenny Omega for the first time in 18 months to win the Impact title on the first episode of a brand new show for a network that really is happy with what the company is doing might be something you can hang your hat on a bit.

He had concussion issues around the time that lawsuit was going against the WWE. WWE wouldn't let him wrestle, not the other way around, and when prompted to sign him again, the WWE passed, not the other way around.
I get that you guys "hate" WWE but it's never in good taste to just make things up. We call that "revisionist history" which WWE is often criticized for.

Just as a reference, Sportskeeda is a banned news source because they're unreliable as all hell. And it was clear he was kidding.

Because it was really was a hell of a match. But, it’s a combination of knowing something huge was coming afterwards, they knew Christian wasn’t winning and the crowd was tired. But I think this match will get better with each viewing.

I think if it and Punk/Darby were switched, they’d probably be into it more since, like, the chance of crazy stuff happening would rapidly drop. For me, it was a longer version of the Rampage match which was great and this was too.
