VINCE:I hear your complaints and I just want to reassure you something like that will never happen again, because starting in 2022, Smackdown is moving to three hours on Firdays!

Edge and Rollins didn't need to go three full segments and 24:35 bell to bell. That's longer than any match was on SummerSlam, even their own one. What story needs to be told in three segments that couldn't be told in two?
And I mean, I get the argument of "I'd like more wrestling on the wrestling show, please", but I'd make the argument of "I'd like to see as many people as reasonably possible doing wrestling on the wrestling show, please". This doesn't just f*** over Vega, it f***s over Carmella, Morgan and Storm too.

I don't even know what to say to this.
I know WWE is a heartless corporate machine, but f***s sake...

Even if Edge and Rollins went over time and they were stuck having to adjust the show, I would have just cut out a big portion of Profits/Usos. Seeing as though they were going to end it with a Roman DQ leading to Demon Finn, why bother having an entire match lead up to that, when they are clearly going to be setting up another Profits/Usos match for the titles at the next PPV anyway? Just have Roman interfere much sooner than he did.

FFS. It's just basic human deceny to give her some time on this show.
Even if I felt charitable and accepted that they really had to cut her match then at least just make her special guest ring announcer or timekeeper. Anything!

For arguments sake, let's compare to a RAW from September 11 2000, where the company was starting to trend down a little bit but ratings were still great and the boom hadn't gone bust yet... Only two matches of NINE on the night (featuring 27 talents) went over FIVE MINUTES for a combined total ring time of 28:55. Only a handful of minutes more than just ONE match from SmackDown.

Ahh but you see, there was still a wrestling war going on so the effort to put over talent was there and they needed to put their best foot forward. What are they competing again now? Blue Bloods? Tom Selleckâs moustache is going to beat them regardless so whatâs better than longer matches?

So many people failed Zelina during this show. Whether it be Vince or Prichard who made the call to cut the match, the wrestlers who went way over during their segment, or her other co-workers whom didnât speak up on her behalf and offer to shorten their own segments to accommodate. Itâs funny when people who will label themselves as leaders in the locker room wonât even lift a finger to speak up to management about something so obvious and egregious. A lot people in that office AND locker room should be ashamed of themselves.

I loved the idea of random civilians renovating a room in a celebrityâs house and getting their reaction, though.

Yeesh, the more I read about this the worse it seems.
There really didnât have to be much done here; simple acknowledgment of Vegaâs past, her loss, and what being in her hometown on the anniversary weekend of such a traumatic event meant for her would have at least been *something* and could be done with just a minute of screen time. Even if her match âhadâ to be cut, that shouldnât have been difficult to work around.
I donât want to cast blame on any individuals; no idea if Seth and Edge went over their time, no idea who laid the matches out more generally or organized the show, but yeah, echoing EoE here, what was accomplished with a 25 and 15 match on Friday that couldnât have been done with a 20 minute and a 10 minute match, leaving at least a sliver of time for Zelina on such a major day? Thatâs painful just to think about.
And no, I wouldnât say âshe knew sheâd be mistreated like this when she re-signedâ. I doubt she thought sheâd be main eventing, but this is a level beyond anything like that.

I loved the idea of random civilians renovating a room in a celebrityâs house and getting their reaction, though. Celebrities renovate a house of someone in their hometown that helped them in their past. And for the record, Blue Bloods is on at 10, so it doesn't go head-to-head with Smackdown, but it does go head-to-head with 205 Live.

I was recently reminded that even during a TNA pay per view which was held on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 they let her say something about it even though she was a heel.
