I know it's still 4 Months away but imho It's never too early to talk about the Rumble . So at this time, who do you think are the likely candidates to win the 2022 Men and Womens Rumbles? I'll be honest, I haven't really been watching so I'm not 100% sure who's being pushed, who isn't, heck at this point who is even still in the company? For the Mens. I'm not a fan of Guys who have already won the Rumble winning it again so I would prefer it not be McIntyre, Rollins, Orton etc.. Perhaps someone like Finn Balor winning it would be pretty sweet. Womens, Honestly I have no idea, I guess Rhea Ripley could be a choice.. Or if she is back intime Bayley.. But I really don't know. For those of you more up to date with the product than me, who would be your likely candidates at this time?

I see Drew vs Roman on the Smackdown side of things, but as for Raw I see Seth staying on Smackdown for a few months to fued with Roman and then winning the Rumble and move to Raw to face Big E at mania

I'm not sure how it would fit story-wise, but I feel like the men's winner is going to be Corbin.

I seriously doubt it will be Bayley. Her timetable for return puts her out well past the Rumble, and possibly past Wrestlemania (her injury has at least a 9 month recovery time, which means the soonest she can return is around Wrestlemania). Also they kinda need to pivot away from a horsewoman this year, since they've won the last two rumbles back to back (Becky and Charlotte). I doubt it will be Sasha either, since she's constantly taking unexplained leaves of absences, and left WWE in a pretty bad spot heading into Summerslam. Honestly the only people I can see winning it are Asuka (whose injury will keep her out anywhere from Survivor Series to the Rumble) or an NXT callup that will debut in the Rumble.

AJ, Finn or Drew are my picks on the men side. Maybe Keith Lee as a real dark horse
For the women it is up in the air. Shayna would be a good choice. Asuka is always a solid choice assuming she is back. Charlotte is always in play. I wouldn't put it past them to have Becky come in and win so she can unify the titles again. For an early pick tho, i'll go with Sasha

Got a feeling Balor will get the mens. These feelings are always wrong, as FAN forum history will probably attest!
Womens. Kay Lee Ray. Someone new-ish anyhow.

If they're serious about wanting to reboot Drew, he should go over to SD in the draft, win the rumble and face Roman in Dallas. I could see Riddle or Corbin winning, too. On the women's side, I genuinely have no idea. Someone new they've debuted, maybe? If they oversold how bad Bayley's injury is in reality, she's my pick.

Braun if he doesn't sign with Impact. If not then Xavier.
For the females if the rumors are true Paige wants to return so I see her as a surprise entrant then winning the RR.

It feels like a “veteran who hasn’t won it yet” kind of year.
Looking at who hasn’t won it yet, Hardy would be interesting as a last run, AJ always a solid option, Miz might not be back for a while between Dancing with the Stars and gunning for the Johnny Cage part in the Mortal Kombat sequel
Smackdown side, Ziggler is doubtful, so probably Finn unless they promise Owens a Rumble win to get him to stay.

Honestly the only people I can see winning it are Asuka (whose injury will keep her out anywhere from Survivor Series to the Rumble) or an NXT callup that will debut in the Rumble. Bianca won the last women's Rumble. Becky and Charlotte won in 2018 and 2019. I just hope the winners are someone different. IDK something like Damien Priest and Liv Morgan. Priest I think has a legit shot as they've actually done a pretty good job protecting and building him up. Even though he's not ready I could see Omos winning with how hard they've been pushing him. Or it could just be someone like Roman winning to get a rematch against Brock after losing it to him sometime before the Rumble with Brock then taking his usual break until Mania. With the women it's harder to predict when you look at what the only half a dozen women they give a crap about are doing right now. Bayley is hurt and according to her timetable the earliest she can return isn't until a few months after the Rumble. Sasha has to be deemed as unreliable with how much she keeps disappearing for whatever the reason are. Becky is likely going to the SD champion until Mania, Charlotte might not hold the Raw belt all the way through but they'll do the usual hot potatoing with her to pad her stats and there's a good chance she'll be in the Raw title match on the Rumble PPV either as champion or challenger. Bianca and Alexa are title challengers right now and usually people who are challengers during the fall programs don't challenge at Mania as they usually like to do a match that hasn't been seen before or hasn't been done a while for Mania. Rhea had her win last year albeit unplanned and is clearly being demoted to the midcard and Nia whom while they love for some reason isn't someone who is going to get a Mania title shot either. Then after that you have everyone else who they don't give a crap about about. As a result I'm just going to say the winner is going to someone from NXT like Io Shirai. I'll say Priest and Io.
