Yes, I know he just won the title lol and I hope he has a long reign, but I’m kind of curious on who they have dethrone him. I think it should be a heel Matt Riddle

I don't see many heels on the roster that I'd want to elevate by beating Big E. I also am not too keen on turning over babyfaces like Priest right now. I think you could use a proven commodity like AJ to be a transitional champion to elevate someone else (like a Riddle).

Probably Lashley. I don't see Big E going into WrestleMania as champ, but I could see him going in as challenger trying to recapture the belt if WWE are committed to him over the next six months.

Honestly I'm thinking Corbin. He's been on a hot streak for awhile now and seems to have found a gimmick that really works for him, might as well take that jump and see how it goes.

If the plan is to have matches like Reigns vs. Rock (or Drew) and Lashley vs. Brock at Mania, they could totally get away with something like Riddle vs. AJ for the title. That'd be great.

I am not against the Corbin idea even if he only holds it for a week
In terms of a challenge, I could see AJ taking the title off Big E. He's my under the radar Rumble winner this year and I think it could set up a AJ/Edge program for next year
I wouldn't rule out Sheamus either to win against Big E

AJ Styles would be a great choice leading in to Edge vs Styles at mania for the title where Edge can have one last run as world champ. But if I were booking I’d have New Day in a triple threat match for the title at Mania where Woods wins the belt.

I really, REALLY dislike Xavier, but I think they could book the most compelling story with him and Big E. Let him develop jealousy over time by being the only New Day member without a reign, let him challenge E to a friendly title match and then let him win by cheating. A good explanation for a heel turn and it gives New Day more legs down the road when Xavier finally sees he did the wrong thing.

Keith Lee should do it at Mania. Don't involve any heel turns, or any of this "can they co-exist?" crap. Have a match between 2 of the biggest babyfaces on RAW putting one another over.
Let the fans bask in the glory.

AJ has been irrelevant for ages so I doubt he's suddenly going to win something big after years in midcard.
It could be Riddle or Orton since they have been most over act of Raw all of the summer and they can do the big split at Mania. Maybe even Omos as he's getting big reactions last few weeks

Edge.
Give him a last WWE title run.
Edge vs. Big E would tear the house down at Wrestlemania.

Definitely feels like there's more in the tank for the Big E/Apollo feud and what better what to jumpstart it than to have Apollo take another belt from E!!!!!!
