I enjoyed it, for what it was worth, but I don't think it's anywhere near the level of greatness people put it at. You can have a lot of fun with it, but I guess it's down to how many people you know who you can play it with and stuff.

Haven't bought it and have absolutely no desire to. I just don't see the appeal of it. Plus, you buy the game and then you have to pay to play it? And compete with player factories in China? No, thanx...

I dont think any game is worth paying every freaking month for, especially considering your fellow players are jobless social outcasts who get to "OMG LVL 99Z IN THREE HOURZ CUZ I DONT TALK TO TEH GIRLZ THEY JUST WANT 2 KILL MY ELF ARCHER!"

I should also point out that I stopped playing it about a month after I started, and will probably never pick it up again.

I haven't played it yet, but Warcraft 3 is kickass, so I might get it sooner or later.

I enjoyed it for two months, never played it again after that.
You may like it, but I prefer to get more value out of my games.
I enjoyed Final Fantasy Online a LOT more.

But if you never play the game, it could mean the end of the world!!
...of Warcraft.

lol at the South Park reference above. I haven't played it yet, but Warcraft 3 is kickass, so I might get it sooner or later. I still play Warcraft 3, that game is very cool.

I guess if you like MMMMMMMMMORPG's. Which I don't.
I tried the eight day trial and the most interaction I got was "lol" and "ok". I just threatened people with high levels until they wanted to fight me and then told them "You ain't ready, son" and danced away.

It's meant to be this huge place for millions of people to interact, and it's really not. You just do some quests together, that's it.

I wanted an immersive RPG experience. What I got was 1500 Wolverine ripoffs all dancing and saying "lol kk". I made the mistake of creating a female character once and had like 100 people following me around at any given time "hi asl?" "ur hott"

"ur hott" Heh, I made a female warlock on WOW, total babe. Also, a complete b****, if any man tried to get in there with me, I basically told them to get a bigger sword and come back. Fun times.

Yeah, I've never been able to get in to these kinds of games. They're kind of fun for awhile but it seems like you either tire of it quickly or get so addicted you can't stop. The middle ground seems nearly non-existent.

The middle ground seems nearly non-existent. That's what I had. I would play for a bit, roll a new character, play for a bit, roll a new character. While I liked that aspect of the game, and even played in some Guilds, WoW as a whole doesn't have that 'epic' feel that I crave. I'd be playing FFXI, but my computer can't handle it ... plus, it's getting long in the tooth.
