So I saw this film today and was absolutely blown away by it. I won't spoil it but the ending is one of the best endings I have ever seen. It's one of those endings that you can't seem to get out of your mind. I cried my eyes out. If it wasn't for United 93 it would be the best film released in 2006. Anyone else seen it?

I really, really, really, really, r-r-r-r-really want to see this. The problem is no cinemas close by seem to be screening it at the moment.

Look for any of the other threads started about this movie, including the two I got going Yes, this movie is totally kick ass, and it has one of the greatest villains ever. No matter how much you hate the guy, you can't help but think he's totally badass. And yes, the movie is more violent than one would expect just from seeing the previews. Dibiase Is God, your thoughts regarding the villain "repairing" his damaged lip?

Dibiase Is God, your thoughts regarding the villain "repairing" his damaged lip? I actually did a forum search on the name and it didn't come up with any results, other than when some people have mentioned it in an Oscar thread. And as for the stitches in the lip that was pretty nasty, but having to saw off the gangrenous leg was just plain wrong.

Saw it before Christmas and thought it was great. The Paleman is a creation of brilliant horrific style.
However one of my friends went to see it with three other mates and they all had different reactions. He liked it, his main buddy didn't like it at all, his other buddy's girlfriend was terrified by it and the last guy thought it was ok.

It's one of those movies I've heard the name several times but I know nothing about it. Whats it about? It's about a young girl who is always reading about fairy tales. Her father dies during the Spanish Civil War and her mother remarries a captain and gets pregnant (he is a piece of s*** of the highest order). The girl gets involved in real fairy tales to escape from the war around her. From the director of Blade 2, The Devil's Backbone and Hellboy.

But according to you guys its kind of violent too....so....might be worth checking out. Thanks.
