When does Roman finally drop the title?

His title reign is still going strong, nearly 15 months later. Obviously nobody thought he'd be champion this long, and with a showdown between him and the Rock supposedly in the works for Wrestlemania 39, it begs the question of when on earth he's finally going to drop the title? How long are they going to drag this out for? Will he go into his match with the Rock as champion?

Especially given that there's been reports that they're trying to push Roman Reigns as the greatest of all time, that does seem a realistic possibility at this point.

So place your bets! When will it finally occur?

I almost voted Rumble, but leaned towards next 'Mania. Kind of sad that this is still probably the best Universal title reign, since it's gone on too long and I just don't picture the ending being especially satisfying.

It doesn't even matter if he loses it. He's like Cena at this point, when he's not champ he's in the title picture anyway and the main focus of the show.

I'm pretty sure he'll drop the title when someone can pin his shoulders to the mat for a 3-count or cause him to submit. This of course has to happen before the 60-minute time limit expires.

They'll keep it on Roman until they can work out his match against The Rock at Wrestlemania (in either 2022 or 2023). Rock puts over Reigns, raises his hand, & Roman inexplicably becomes a face. He then has a face-champ run until Survivor Series where he drop the belt, wins the Rumble, & gains the belt back at 'Mania.

Mark my words.

It’s tough to tell honestly.

I only watch sporadically but there doesn’t seem to be anybody on the horizon who just screams that they’ll be “that guy”

Really no reason to take the title off him until then
