Is this the remake of the British show? If so, I’ve not watched it yet but heard good things.

It is based on the British show and it is very funny. It is just layer upon layer of quirkiness. The wife and I are enjoying it greatly so far.

I really, really like it a lot. I tweeted about it and Rose McIver liked my tweet, so that was kinda cool. Haha.

I've seen a little bit of it while I'm working and from what I've seen it seems like a pretty decent fun show.

The British version is on HBO Max and my fiance and I have watched some of it as we try and find a comedy to hook us as we wait for S3 of Wellington Paranormal to show up on there. If it's a 1 to 1 I'd guess it's pretty good.

My mom said it was great so I tried to watch the first episode.
I stress tried, because as hot as I think Rose McIver is, much like iZombie it isn't enough for me to watch a shitty show.
I thought it was terrible. It thinks it has a "cute" vibe like The Good Place or something, but it misses the mark.

It is a real ensemble comedy. There are a dozen or so ghosts overall but they only focus on two or three of them each episode. So far it has managed to stay fresh because the cast is different every week. And I have yet to find a bad pairing.

i'm a fan of the UK version, watching the trailer for the US version made me cringe.

Okay update...
So I've watched all but two episodes so far. And I do love it. It's lots of fun and has some nice moments in there too.
I also ordered the BBC Series 1, so it'll be interesting to compare. Unlike other UK vs. US Remake issues, it's the original that will have a tough act to follow.
Thorfinn is hilarious. I love Flower and Hetty too.
And I need counseling as I think it's totally cute when Jay talks about how Sam has a cute butt.
Sam/Rose (in the pilot): Zombies are not real! LOL.
If nothing else, it seems to draw good audiences and has a good fandom, CBS would be nuts to not give it a S2.

Anyway this past episode was a good one. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} We now have a love triangle as Pete loves Alberta but is too shy to say. So he invents a relationship with Nancy, one of the cholera ghosts who live in the basement. I wouldn't mind seeing her ascended to semi regular, the storyline has possibilities. The charade can go on for awhile till Pete reveals his true feelings. Or...he falls for Nancy somehow. This could end with Nancy being sucked off as finding true love might be the one thing she needed to accomplish. Leaving Pete alone and needing Alberta for comfort.
Or Nancy gets spurned by Pete and tries to rebound with any of the other male ghosts. True she'd have to be oblivious about Isaac, and Thor and Flower might be a thing (lucky guy).
And the deal with Sam's mom...when she finally admitted she loved her and was proud, it was nice...then you remember....when Sam's mom's ghost does what she had to do, what happens? Ohhhhhhh... :-( :-( And being reminded that Sam can see ghosts wherever she goes opens up possibilities for season two, maybe some new semi-regulars that hang out in different places she visits? What I REALLY want, however...if and when Sam and Jay do get the B&B up and running, they get two certain visitors from England....one of which has the same powers Sam does... Seeing Sam go to the Button House would be nice, but the former is a bit easier to do. I am waiting on the first series of the BBC series, which I ordered on DVD. (yeah, HBO Max, but I live at home and not everyone is ready to go all in on buying it)

So Ghosts has earned a place in my signature, with two of my favorite quotes from two of my favorite characters.

I would love to see someone make a parody drawing of this show mixed with The Ghost and Molly McGee. How would that go, maybe if it involved Geoff.
