Will Maude finally come back, as long rumored?

Will Maude finally come back, as long rumored? That'd be "that man is the real Seymour Skinner!" levels of audience cheating.

Frankly, that looked really tongue-in-cheek. Most Disenchantment episodes feel more dramatic than that teaser. Could be decent though.

Will Maude finally come back, as long rumored? Just give her actress a new character.

Will Maude finally come back, as long rumored? Just give her actress a new character. Ned starts dating a who who moderates a pro wrestling forum. When they marry, she changes her screenname to "Mod Flanders".

Have Ned begin dating a woman with an eerie similarity to Maude, sparking fears from Springfield that he’s still having closure issues (as hinted from the Praiseland episode)

If we need to continue the Simpsons for whatever Godforsaken reason clean house please. New creative cause Lord knows they can't judge quality considering the past 15 or so years. And voice actors cause everyone sounds old it hurts my throat

And voice actors cause everyone sounds old it hurts my throat After the movie I pitched the idea that the Simpsons due a permanent time-skip. Just jump ahead a couple of years with Bart and Lisa in High School, then you can earnestly start exploring storylines about romance and employment with them (as opposed to the half-baked "what do ten years old's know about dating" stories they currently due). Have Maggie at Springfield Elementary so you could still use characters like Crabapple and Skinner. Just something to shake up the incredibly stale status quo. At this point though I don't think this would even work and I doubt anyone still really following the show after all this time wants the status quo shaken up.

It'll outlive us all. AI will be able to replicate the characters voices perfectly long after all the voice actors have passed away.

Well part two was today.... Didn't this show use to have jokes in it I liked the slightly more serious tone. Let’s the real jokes breathe, and some of them were really subtle. I mentioned before back about The Who shot mr burns episodes, that the two part episodes lately seem to have a much better flow and slightly more serious tone. Reminds me of the older seasons. It’s not like the family guy syndrome of non stop jokes they’ve been doing for years.

Make characters age, kill off older characters, have kids grow up, etc.

My issue with the show doing two parters is the context of the episodes that have featured them. "The Great Phatsby" (technically an hour-long episode when it aired) more or less was an attempt to synergize with "Empire" at the time, but rather than play around with the formula of the show because everyone who writes for The Simpsons is a white person who grew up in the northeast, they just talked about how you should watch "Empire", as well as it being another "Mr. Burns is a dumb sadsack" episode. Meanwhile, my main problem with "Warrin' Priests" as an episode is they did a very poor job explaining why Reverend Lovejoy needs his church back, given the first part begins with him doing a shitty job, as usual, to a congregation that doesn't care for him, and the conclusion doesn't show what happens when he gets his church back. It's more or less a concrete example how the show idolizes the status quo so much that when you see an instance where change is, really, for the better, the show fights against it, kicking and screaming. Granted, that's not the focus of the story, but when that's your instigator for the whole plot (Lovejoy wants to destroy the new guy for encroaching on his turf), you kind of want to dissect why he wants his spot so badly if he's so bad at it? But, as a wrestling fan, I think we all know that answer easily. Of the three, I think you can easily say "A Serious Flanders" is the best two-parter of the modern era, but only because it takes advantage of the formula its working with and isn't just doing a straightforward plot or pandering to guest stars.

Finished both parts and really enjoyed it. Yes, the jokes are lacking, but for more of a parody of modern crime shows I think it did a fine enough job in tackling the concept. I said it elsewhere but I think Season 33's been more solid on its concept episodes.
