Gargoyle and Thunderbird. Thunderbird I remember is well know for being killed off early on in the comics. Who was Gargoyle again? (All I can think of is that sidekick to the Leader in the Hulk cartoon).

(All I can think of is that sidekick to the Leader in the Hulk cartoon). There was a heroic Gargoyle who was part of the Defenders. Not him in the opening though. I had decided it was Brainchild, a Savage Land mutate. But I think one of the animators/producers has said it was nobody. And it was Warpath, not Thunderbird. Warpath actually began as an X Men adversary. Though he was called Thunderbird then so I guess you are right.

I forget the exact story, but I was under the impression that purple big-head guy was some kind of animation error. Something about screwing character models and they just threw him in.

(All I can think of is that sidekick to the Leader in the Hulk cartoon). Allegedly that's who it was, despite not being a mutant and it not really looking like him. (the show creators have gone back and forth if that is truly who it is supposed to be.) I forget the exact story, but I was under the impression that purple big-head guy was some kind of animation error. Something about screwing character models and they just threw him in. they had character sheets for a few people that were meant to be Easter eggs in Genosha. someone grabbed them when designing the opening, I'm assuming they liked Thunderbird's size... and... I dunno how small the green guy was to slide in?

Hopefully its success might lead to a revamp of X-Men Evolution too. Although that wasn't as popular as X-Men, it still had a pretty big following and is still fondly remembered.

It would be cool if this lead to a sort of Animated Universe. I know that might not be what people want... but just to see more characters.

I would think that Spider-man TAS (hopefully without the goofy standards and practices they had to deal with) would be the most likely thing to be revived if they do anything.

I haven't seen anyone say it, so I guess I have to be that guy.
Cal Dodd is great, if it weren't for Steve Blum being Steve Blum, he would be the Wolverine I hear when I read X-Men.
Cal Dodd is too old, he barely sounds like he sounded in the original if at all (I'm not disparraging him for not sounding the same as 30 years ago). It is so jarring to me that it's distracting.

Honestly, agreed but I think he's fine. I went in pretty much expecting him to sound 30 years older and just happy he's still able to do it at all. Blum's a high standard at this point, it could be argued he's the definitive Wolverine VO to some and honestly, sealed it for me with Midnight Sons (which, Christ people, buy Midnight Sons. It's on sale a lot and definitely worth it).

Honestly all the returning VA's sound a little bit off and it can be a little distracting. Actually the person who sounds the most like his 90's counterpart is Cyclops. It's hard to believe that that's not Norm Spencer at times.

And honestly I thought it was some crappy, "games as a service" schlock like Avengers was.

I was totally expecting a Marvel Alliance style game, as I’m not really into the whole card deal, so I was touched disappointed though the voice work is dope as hell
