If you tell a Starfleet captain it'll take 30 minutes to do something, they always tell you to 'do it in twenty, Mr. Smith!'
Kinda jerky if you ask me. They're basically saying that you are a lazy bum who could finish the job sooner but are lying about it.

That's why I always double the time then round it up when I reply to the Captain. So I say "She'll take 2 hours Captain" and they will reply "I need it in 90 minutes Val", then I sound all pissy and confirm "Aye Captain, I'll give her all she's got."
Then I finish my space martini, scratch my ass a couple times, then do the work in about 50 odd minutes and pretend like I busted my ass to make a miracle happen.
