Only made the thread since we have a decent number of matches announced and there wasn't one yet.
I look forward to watching The Twilight Zone instead.

It's hard to get invested when I feel like nothing of note will happen and it will just be used to carry them along until the Rumble where actually important things will happen.

New Day vs Usos feels like the default template for a tag match graphic that they sometimes forget to change before publishing so we just end up with another match between them.

I have to say even though I’ve no confidence in it being any good, I do like the fact it’s on a Saturday night.

I think this may end up being more important than we think because it's Nick Khan's brainchild. I think we at least see Big E drop the WWE Title to Seth, is my guess.

I don't know that I'd do it here but I do kind of think at some point Big E needs to lose the belt to Seth, mostly since I don't see who the hell else there is on Raw for him to lose it to. It's pretty much just Seth or AJ unless you want to turn Orton again, turn Balor, or push Omos to the moon, Raw's kind of a ghost town.
Granted the title scene isn't better the other way around. It's just slim pickings all around. But I do think you have more mileage with Seth as champ than you do Big E, especially at Mania season.

True but we've also seen the Saudi government pay millions of dollars for important things and end up getting Shane McMahon as the Best in the World.

I think Lesnar/Reigns being put here and not on Rumble shows they know they need something to try and sell the building out on New Year's Day and it seems like the biggest match they have right now, even though we've seen it 9,000 times.

I'm guessing Brock / Roman's going to end up in a DQ since I don't see Brock losing three times in a row but it's hard to see him taking the belt either, though he could I guess.
Regardless I'm sure it'll close because the WWE title is basically worthless at this point.

It's also the default tag match in the company since they refuse to build any other team into legitimacy. They actually have pretty fleshed out tag team divisions nowadays. Usos, New Day, RKBro, Street Profits, AJ/Omos (though they’re breaking up soon it seems), Viking Raiders, Mysterios, Roode/Ziggler, Alpha Academy, Hurt Business, Lotharios, and then Nakamura/Boogs, Crews/Azeez,Jinder/Shanky, Sheamus/Holland and Corbin/Moss which are sort of associations more than teams.

I can see them doing an elimination chamber match for the WWE title, harking back to the New Year's Revolution days. EC and Hell in a Cell aren't on the PPV schedule for 2022 so it seems like they've finally scrapped those.
First the feud was Big E v Seth then Owens got involved then last night Lashley so you just need another two to fill a chamber match, preferably babyfaces. RK-Bro make the most sense. Orton wins the chamber. Riddle wins the Rumble. Riddle beats Orton at Wrestlemania either in a face v face match with handshake after or Orton turns heel sometime beforehand.
I can't see Big E or Seth v anyone right now being Wrestlemania WWE title match worthy. Seth v Edge could've been but they gave that feud a definitive ending a few weeks ago in a hell in a cell match.

Much as we may hate him, he has big appeal to casuals.

I might check it out though more than likely nothing important will happen with the Rumble happening a few weeks afterwards.
