A solid 7.5 Women's match impressed even in it's bad time slot Genuine question, when was the last time the 9:30 slot was bad for AEW or ratings death? Every ratings breakdown we see it's usually fine or doesnt lose fans and hasn't for awhile now. It only feells like a shit slot these days with people when the girls have a match in it, and they hadn't had a match there in weeks I meant more it was in the filler match spot on the card. Or maybe it just felt that way at first

Solid 8.
Only things I didn't care for were MOTY still being anywhere near an Inner Circle member (should've fully ended after the PPV, let them do something else) and Cody being Sammy's next challenger.

3…matches went way to long..another of week matches with low card talent with obvious outcomes And every damn matches does NOT NEED a post match attack/beat down. I beleive every single match including the battle royal had some type of post match attack.. Smh You need to have weeks where you showcase lowcard talent, or you blow your load too hard. You need to keep people around so you can establish and build them for the future Some people hate the post match attacks but at least they feel different and esrablish how much some of these people hate each other and its boiling over But the post match attacks aren’t different when it happens every match….and I’m all for showcasing the lower card talent…that’s what dynamite/dark/ whatever other shoe they have. Dynamite has never had a problem with the level of their matches until recently….not sure why all of a sudden Tony decided to have Dark and Elevation guys featured in long matches against upper card talent on his “A” show.. The results are so obvious…why even watch? The recent ratings prove this.

The results are so obvious…why even watch? The recent ratings prove this. The ratings are due other things too but people love to ignore that for their own narrative and frankly Im not turning this thread into a ratings discourse so I'll leave it there You have to feature and showcase lower end talent, this is so imoportant to the sustainability of your product, yes some matches have conclusive winners but the point is to show the talent is growing and developing, and aren't far off from the other persons level. Constantly featuring main event talent against one another and acting like the undercard doesnt matter and future talent have no future is why WCW died, and why WWEs ratings are plummeting. AEW has big shows and big Dynamites scheduled for bigger cards, some shows thereby feature lower card talent getting a showcase. I don't see people going live complaining about what they're being given either. The wrestling tonight and level of it was thoroughly praised. But whatever, you can think what ya like.

Really fun but I'm baffled by the decision to not have MJF speak at all

Really fun but I'm baffled by the decision to not have MJF speak at all It would've been difficult for him to cut a Face promo.

5 for me, an easy watch but none of the matches really hooked me, Riho Vs Hayter probably came closest but the finish was never in doubt.
All of the matches felt like they went too long, it even felt like Punk's promo went long to me which is a first.
Also the exact same interview interruption and post-match beatdown tropes being used multiple times on the same show wore me down a bit.
MJF was great, Danielson was great.
Please can someone show Malakai Black how to properly get someone with the mist. He must have a 1 in 10 hit ratio (to the eyes) at this point.

Going with a 7. The opening 30-40 minutes - Punk's super-repetitive cheap-heat promo, Dante's heel turn getting abandoned after two weeks - were pretty rough, though AEW has earned the benefit of the doubt with me to where I assume the latter will be explained fairly well, and the former was almost certainly just a one-off. The rest of the show was good. Particular credit goes to Riho and Hayter who ended up having a damn good match after a somewhat rocky start. Bucks/Chaos and Bryan/Silver were both a lot of fun. 8-man tag was good. Malakai misting Julia was baffling. Nyla's "surprise, bitch!" was hilarious. Fun show overall, even with the stuff I disliked.

Went with an 8. Had some great moments, but also some fillery-feeling segments as well.

I’d say an 8
I think I’m in the minority but I thought Riho vs Hayter was not good at all and put a real kibosh on the shows momentum. Admittedly that might be because I’m not a fan of Riho (or Hayter) but not a fan at all of the match
Everything else thought I really enjoyed. If Deeb vs Shida was on this weeks show instead of next week I’d probably have given it an 11 (Because you know they are going to have an banger which deserve the extra point ha)
