Minoru Suzuki will be participating at the 12/30 GLEAT show in a UWF rules tag.
There's also another Takataichi produce show on 1/10, so Suzuki-gun is keeping busy.

Wrestle Kingdom night 3 NJPW vs. NOAH full card--the main is LIJ vs. Kongoh. (EDIT: Nm, match order is undecided, they probably don't want to spoil that one or both of Shingo/Nakajima won't be champions going into the match, so it probably will still be Okada/Tana vs. Kaito/Mutoh) KENTA is wrestling on the NOAH side with Sugiura-gun.

Looks like Kendo Kashin got his way. Tag matches up and down the card.
This is why the “Forbidden Door” is still a bit of a hard sell for me. Companies aren’t just going to let their top stars lose to other promotions top guys that easily. Far too much politics involved.

Yeah, a bit disappointing overall, but at least we’ll get some fun interactions. You can spot fall guys in many of the matches already.
That being said, Tana/Okada vs. Mutoh/Kaito, ZSJ/Nobu vs. Marufuji/Ogawa and even Dads vs. Dads are the ones I’m hyped for.

No real surprise at the lineup. Not gonna risk a top guy getting beat one on one

Again, politics and the pandemic are why expectations have to be managed.

I mean it being sold out doesn’t make the card look any more appealing to me.
I see no reason to get excited for a bunch of filler tag matches.

I'm still interested in terms of unique interactions. Even outside of who wins and who loses, I know part of the issue is you don't want to put two guys out there without much familiarity, only to find out they have absolutely no chemistry. That's the kind of thing that'd humiliate both companies. Tags are safer in that respect.
Still, I do figure that unless they throw in some little wrinkles, it's going to be kind of underwhelming for that card.

I saw Izuchi live 2 years ago almost to the day, so I'm rooting for the kid. He's very good considering his age and I hope to see him in a big stage in a couple of years, since according to that he's joining GLEAT, which would mean leaving HEAT UP.

Night 3, while still looking like an interesting and fun card, has gone from a 'have to see live' to 'watch a week later' for me.

GLEAT is a promotion that I think fans should keep an eye out for.
They have some great talent and fill a hole in wrestling that hasn’t been filled since the UWF and the advent of MMA.
