Seeing the other thread on Big E's title run and how some feel it's been a mixed result run so far.
If you have a choice between Big E's current title run or giving Kofi a second reign with the WWE title right now, what do you choose?

Kofi getting a second title run over anyone else in the company is my pick. He was an amazing champion far better than most since Bryan's win in 2014. Sadly, people just focused more on the ending than prior. Everyone he faced he had legit connections to him in some shape or form which is rare for champions these days. He also made his opponents look strong, always fought for the title and also made it seem like he could lose at any moment which was similar to 96-97 HBK. Those are rare champion qualities. Giving Kofi another run with newer talent would be dope especially if he ended up heel. He'd make these dudes.
As for Big E's reign, I mean I'm not sure if I said it in that initial thread (probably did) but Big E overall is having a better reign than most champions in the company. Singling him out doesn't really do much. Nobody's having a great reign these days. It's less about his reign as a person but more about how most title reigns suck. We need Nakamura threads out here for example. Yall forgot he was champion too huh? Yep. They're all not great.

Big E has all the qualities they should want in a top act. They just don't book him like one, and instead use the crutch of giving a belt to try and deflect from that issue.
Kofi doesn't have that. He's serviceable, he's a good hand, he's a guy you can trust to bring it, but he doesn't have innate superstar qualities. He won it at the right time, and he should have won it when he did, but that groundswell was always going to be a fleeting ship without the substance behind it.
The issue isn't who has the belt, it's that the belt belongs to a company that has given up on actually investing in superstars in lieu of the brand.

I'm happier with Big E winning it, and he WOULD be a great champion if they stopped booking him like he was 5'0 and 110 pounds. Roman, Brock, and Lashley feel like the only three people they're comfortable having dominate anything, and I don't especially get why, if they think strong booking is a finite resource that should be rationed out stingily.

giving the Title to Big E is not the problem.
Giving the title to Big E and then booking him like crap is.
Kofi winning the title and getting booked like this would have the same exact issues.
