They came in with such promise. Two huge guys who do flippy shit and hit hard. I only saw a bit of them on the indies but they were kick ass machines in the few I watched. and then.....
They come in with a horrible name, which cut them off at the knees immediately. They changed the name but the damage was done. Nothing of note other than one of them being a ladies man who likes turkey legs and some incoherent sessions with the Street Profits. An injury layover and they're back...
Now they come out doing their stupid arm movement, pathetically begging the crowd to do it as well. They are the Bushwackers of this generation. It's sad how a once strong team has been turned into such a comedy act.

I think Vince just believes the answer to solving the tag division is turning current teams into teams he loved in the 80's and early 90's. I remember them trying to make Heavy Machinery into the Bushwhackers too where they were doing the goofy Bushwhacker march. Then there was also the story Luke Harper told how Vince wanted him and Rowan to be like Demolition.

WWE could book them good and make them credible.
All they need to do is rescue Brock and then they could do Brock/Vikings vs Roman/Usos
That rub would put them over huge. But nah, can't have Brock wrestling a 6 man tag on free TV...

Heavy Machinery actually were the new Bushwackers for a time, to the point they unashamedly did the Bushwacker walk to the f***ing ring lol

They’re not in a bad position right now. They’re usually kept booked pretty strong, and I can see them getting into a feud with the Usos for Mania season.

Knowing typical WWE career progression, they're dangerously close to reverting back to the "Viking Experience" name and dancing their way to the ring with the Turisas cover of "Rasputin" as their entrance theme.

Yeah, the name thing set them back but their booking wasn't much better.
They came in from NXT as the NXT Tag Champions... and immediately went into a feud for the Raw Tag Titles... Without any kind of build up on the main roster.
and instead of letting the two big guys be the dominating force to show off like anything about them... they immediately go into 50/50 back and forth brawls with Ryder and Hawkins.
Who I like... but... Hawkins literally just came off a like 3 year long losing streak gimmick, and Ryder was never the big tough guy wrestler.
Having them come in and just demolish a few jobber teams would have done wonders for them... or have them easily win the Tag Titles and have Ryder and Hawkins have a road back to the titles story.

I remember they had a match against the Street Profits on some PPV last year. I was excited because I am a fan of both teams. What I got was a terrible comedy cinematic match that I'm sure Vince enjoyed. While I was reminded to never get excited any time WWE promotes a tag match that isn't the Usos vs New Day.
PLEASE get Hanson and Rowe out of WWE immediately. They would fit in nicely on the tag team friendly AEW roster. They've worked with a lot of the current AEW roster in ROH and NJPW, where Hanson and Rowe were awesome BTW.
Add Hanson and Rowe to the "How TF Did WWE Ruin This / These Guys?!" list. Big, athletic, hard hitting guys that look like bad asses. I've always joked that Rowe looks like a guy that is undefeated in fights at biker bars. How is that not a license to print money in pro wrestling?! 🤦♂️
