Hard to do this but might as well write something down before I forget. Tried to preserve as many championships and tournament winners as possible but that was difficult as well.
Wrestle Kingdom 11 in Tokyo Dome, January 4, 2017
New Japan Rumble: With Michael Elgin elsewhere on the card, Juice Robinson moves into the Ranbo and gets the win.
Tiger Mask W and Tiger the Dark vs. Bad Luck Fale and Yujiro Takahashi The anime show match has the friends/rivals battle real-life villains.
IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship: Roppongi Vice (Super Jr. Tag League winner) vs. KUSHIDA/Ryusuke Taguchi (c) Considered a multi-team match here but not many teams to choose from. Assume in this universe Taguchi Japan forms a bit earlier and KUSHIDA starts teaming with Taguchi, forming Booty Time and beating the Young Bucks for the straps.
NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship ladder match: Hung Bucks (Hangman Page, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) vs. CHAOS (Toru Yano, YOSHI-HASHI, Jado) vs. David Finlay, Ricochet, Satoshi Kojima (c) Three-team ladder match instead of a four-team gauntlet because why not?
Special singles match: Will Ospreay vs. Cody Not ideal that Ospreay isn't in the ladder match, but he feels like the most suitable gaijin other than Juice to fight Cody.
ROH World Championship: Kyle O'Reilly (c) vs. Adam Cole vs. Jay Lethal Uh I don't know man just make it a triple threat match. Lethal wins to help facilitate the departure of the future Undisputed Era.
IWGP World Tag Team Championship (no disqualification): SANADA/EVIL (World Tag League winner) vs. Togi Makabe/Tomoaki Honma vs. Hirooki Goto/Tomohiro Ishii vs. Guerillas of Destiny (c) In this alternate World Tag League, G.o.D. interferes to antagonize multiple other teams during their matches, setting up a chaotic no-DQ match as a course correction.
IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship: Hiromu Takahashi vs. Bushi (c) Bushi keeps his championship against KUSHIDA earlier in the year. The two tease tension within LiJ but remain bros after Hiromu's victory.
NEVER Openweight Championship: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Katsuyori Shibata (c) Hiroshi stays on the "Ace on the road to redemption" storyline but with the NEVER title. Shuffle some wrestler positions around in the G1 to tease this.
IWGP Intercontinental Championship: Kazuchika Okada vs. Michael Elgin (c) Bit of a stretch but New Japan management and crowds did like Elgin. Okada helps Elgin against LiJ like he did for Goto, leading to a respectful IC title challenge.
IWGP Heavyweight Championship: Kenny Omega (G1 Climax winner) vs. Tetsuya Naito (c) Naito retains the championship against Okada at Dominion and takes his tranquilo act to the main event of WK11.

I can't say what we got in 86 was bad considering the infancy of PPV and the three locations but yours is MUCH better. And again, I appreciate all the replies to the thread!

Starrcade 1999 - I rebooked it with the idea Russo might still be around. Think of me as his writing partner.
1. Cruiserweight Championship - Kidman (c) vs Dean Malenko (Torrie Wilson and Asya as special referees)
2. Harlem Heat vs The Mamalukes in a Staten Island Street Fight
3. Buff Bagwell vs Shane Douglas
4. Vampiro vs David Flair
5. Hardcore Battle Royal won by Norman Smiley
6. Lex Luger vs Sid
7. Jeff Jarrett vs DDP
8. WCW Tag Team Championship - The Outsiders vs The Filthy Animals (Konnan and Rey Mysterio)
9. I Quit Match - Bret Hart vs Chris Benoit
10. WCW Championship - Goldberg vs Sting

Summerslam 1995
The Blu Brothers vs The Underdogs (1–2–3 Kid and Barry Horowitz, who I'd make a team)
Skip vs Bob Holly - Skip gets some heat back for the Barry loss.
The Smoking Gunns vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Kama to get them on the card. Hunter joins The Corporation.
Sunny (or better yet Aja Kong if she was available at the time) vs Alundra Blayze
The Undertaker vs Hakushi in a standard singles match
Bret Hart vs King Mabel. Jerry Lawler enlists his fellow King's help instead of making Glen Jacobs an evil dentist. Bret carries Mabel to a decent match, probably.
Shawn Michaels vs Lex Luger. Sid had to be replaced and Luger was at this show anyway. I think he'd be a fitting replacement surprise since in this exercise we can't do the Ladder Match.
Diesel vs Razor Ramon. Razor plays up that he beat Diesel last year at Summerslam and wants to do it again, but the Diesel train keeps rolling.

Alright so tonight, I rebooked the card for Starrcade 1998 for fun.
WCW Starrcade 1998
WCW World Heavyweight Championship Goldberg vs. The Warrior
Grudge Match "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan vs. Kevin Nash
World Television Championship Chris Jericho vs. Wrath
Cruiserweight Championship Battle Royal Billy Kidman, Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero, Juventud Guerrera, Psychosis, Chavo Guerrero, Alex Wright, Prince Iaukea, Kaz Hayashi, Lenny Lane, Hector Garza, Lizmark Jr.
Six-Man Tag Team Match Ric Flair, Chris Benoit, & Dean Malenko vs. Stevie Ray, Scott Norton, & Brian Adams
Scott Steiner w/ Buff Bagwell vs. Scott Hall
"Diamond" Dallas Page vs. Bam Bam Bigelow
Norman Smiley vs. The Disco Inferno
Ernest "the Cat" Miller w/ Sony Oono vs. Glacier
*I would have had The Warrior win WW3 and played more to the storyline of the Wolf Pac vs. The NWO, also would have let Wrath's push result in him becoming TV Champ and had a Horsemen vs. NWO tag match. Would have brought Bam Bam in as an enemy of DDP leading to a feud between them.*

The first half of the show is great and then it nosedives. Love the stage and logo though, so I'll give it a shot.
WrestleMania 34
1) Ladder Match for the RAW Women's Title: Sasha Banks (c) vs Asuka (Rumble Winner)
2) Winners Take-All for the US and SD Tag titles: The New Day (c - Tag) vs Kevin Owens/Sami Zayn and Jinder Mahal (c - US) [w/ The Bollywood Boyz]
Whether it's Kofi, Xavier or Big E, take your pick. One wins the US title and begins their big singles push early.
3) IC Title: Finn Balor (c) vs Seth Rollins
4) Daniel Bryan vs Shane McMahon...
Dissension between co-GM's is teased weeks before news of Bryan being cleared. When the news hit, Shane is apoplectic for being left in the dark. He and his family gave Bryan security and authority, and now he wants to leave Shane with the load in the busiest time of the year? Bryan says he can't be both a competitor and co-GM, that it wouldn't be right. He gives up his co-GM duties, but will only do so early if Shane promises him that he can compete at WrestleMania. Shane grants him his request, and if it's a WM match he wants then who better than the biggest name in the company - himself!
Before the match starts, Shane grabs a mic and says the McMahons tried to do right by Bryan. Gave him a cushy job and no doubt a future HOF induction. One where they would have made sure to mention he wasn't a B+player ... even though he really is (boooo). But, Shane is a man of his word. He said Bryan will get to compete at WM, and he will. As a man of his word, if Bryan, by some miracle, wins this match, then he will see to it that no one gets in the way of Bryan's in-ring career. But there's no chance in hell that will happen. If Bryan insists on coming back then he, his life-long friend, and his family will make sure this match is his last. After all, there is someone he has unfinished business with in the Big Easy.
Triple H's music hits. He and Big Show walk down the aisle and it will now be a 3-on-1 Handicap match. Just as the bell is about to ring, Kane's music hits. He won't let his former friend down. As Kane is halfway down the aisle, he stops, smiles, and looks back. The lights go out! Gong!
Special Tag Team Match! : Daniel Bryan, The Undertaker and Kane vs Shane McMahon, Triple H and The Big Show
Bryan wins and shares a hug with Kane. He nods respectfully to Undertaker, who returns it. They salute the fans as Bryan's career begins anew and Taker returns to New Orleans with a win.
5) Fatal 4Way for the RAW Tag Titles: The Revival (c) vs The Bar vs Gallows/Anderson vs R-Truth and Elias
R-Truth and Elias begin an odd couple tag team. They do a special rap/acoustic performance.
6) WWE Title: Brock Lesnar (c) vs John Cena vs Shinsuke Nakamura (Rumble Winner)
Lesnar wins the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble from Jinder. Cena plays tweener as he can't get over losing to Shinsuke the previous summer. Nakamura pins Lesnar and becomes Smackdown's ace.
7) Randy Orton vs AJ Styles
8) SD Women's Title: Charlotte Flair (c) vs Becky Lynch
9) Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey vs The Miz and Alexa Bliss [w/ Maryse and Mickie James]
I still like the idea of Angle/Rousey teaming. With no HHH/Steph, the villains instead are Miz and Bliss - two people who can't stand not being the in spotlight and would've been great foils. Miz wouldn't have minded being thrown around by both and Mickie serves as another body for Ronda to toss for trying to interfere. Maryse can't wrestle/be involved in the lead-up due to giving birth in March, but she shows up as a surprise ringside guest for Miz to dedicate the match to and get booed for. Ronda does her armbar finish with the double-jointed Alexa making it look like sheer death.
10) Last Man Standing Match for the Universal Title: Braun Strowman (c) vs Roman Reigns
Braun beats Brock for the title at Crown Jewel and runs through the RAW roster. Roman wins the title against a rival he always did good work with
