In 2007, the following were involved in this scandal:
Booker T, Charlie Haas, Chavo Guerrero, Chris Masters, Edge, Funaki, Gregory Helms, John Morrison, Mr. Kennedy, Randy Orton, Snitsky, Umaga and William Regal.
Did any of these guys get punished for this? I know Booker T left shortly after this, but I remember he was unhappy with how the King Booker gimmick was booked. Were the rest of the guys taken off the road for a bit for this story to cool down or did they just roll with the punches?

DH Smith was also involved in this. IIRC some of these guys got written off TV with serious injuries (Triple H smashing Umaga with the sledgehammer). I remember Bradshaw legit kicking DH Smith like he had murdered a relative or pet and Diana Smith had been upset about that.

I'm pretty most if not all got a wellness policy suspension. I remember Morrison having to quickly drop the title to Punk and then serving his suspension. Umaga got written off as well. I think Edge was injured. Mr. Kennedy was written off for his suspension.

In the case of Mr. Kennedy it did supposedly ruin a potential main event angle with Triple H, as Ken was heavily rumored to be the one who was Vince's (kayfabe) illegitimate child when that angle replaced the Who Killed Vince? angle that proceeded it.

Kennedy was supposed to get a main event push by being revealed as Vince’s illegitimate son but that got shelved and the storyline devolved into another Hornswoggle joke that eventually killed off the first version of the Cruiserweight title.
It wasn’t Snitsky’s fault.

Haas, Funaki, and Snitsky were all practically at the bottom of the card so any punishment they got wouldn't make a difference to their standing on the card, even though Snitsky had that weird push where he had his head shaved and his teeth got all gross.
Vince: "If you don't start cleaning up, we'll have to take you off TV."
Haas: "You already keep me off TV."
Vince: "Then we're putting you on Sunday Night Heat every week for four months."
Haas: "I'll be good..."
