When the best thing on the show was the mixed tag match, there’s a problem. Didn't like Seth vs. Roman?

Why should they let Ali leave? If he’s under contract that’s his problem. I get he asked for his release but they don’t have to give it him if they don’t want to.

And I got Peacock thanks to my Spectrum account. I thought you had to have xfinity for that. They now are offering it as a bonus for Spectrum customers.

In 2015, Vince McMahon said he didn’t want Bryan Danielson in the main event because it “would be going to the well one too many times.”
Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar is going to main event Wrestlemania for the 3rd time in seven years.

I love how, much like how he waltzed into the end of the 2019 MitB match despite not being a competitor in order to get the case, Brock won the Rumble entering at number 30, meaning he once again got the most reward for the least amount of work.

As far as the other matches on the card, I felt that they were decent to good. Seth vs. Roman was actually a good match but had a bad ending. Bobby vs. Brock was decent. I don't think Becky vs. Doudrop was as bad as some people had said it was. Was it a great match? No, but I gave both ladies credit for the effort they put in. I think I should check out Piper Niven's matches from NXT UK, as well as ICW. The mixed tag match was better than I thought it was going to be.
As for the Royal Rumble matches, well, I would say that I enjoyed the women's Rumble more than the men's Rumble. I didn't mind it, but many fans, including myself, had called it that Ronda was going to win after it was said that she was returning. It was no surprise that Charlotte was going to be one of the final two, because of course she will be. But I didn't mind the match overall.
The men's Rumble, on the other hand, was underwhelming. Not sure if the lack of NXT talent hurt it or that they fired a lot of wrestlers in the last year was a factor, but many of the guys in the Rumble were a bunch of mid-carders. It got better towards the end, though.

I'll watch Mania, but unless shit changes real fast that'll be the last main roster show I watch. Seriously tonight was like the final nail in my WWE fandom coffin. Wrestlemania will be my WWE funeral. This was my first show in a year. Had and have zero plans for Mania, I may come back annually for Rumbles, but deep down… the roster cuts have killed my love for wrestling. AEW is basically triage. I enjoy, but I don’t love. I don’t even try to encourage or motivate anyone anymore because I can’t do it for myself anymore.

I also just realized there was ZERO NXT participation. I think it is officially developmental now. Shame, I wouldn’t have minded a few nxt people. If AJ had to get eliminated then I would have popped for a Grayson Waller cameo to do it

At 60 years old, is Ivory the oldest Rumble participant?

Ignoring all the people they've released for "budget cuts," if they can grant Toni Storm's release when she was recently on TV and clearly being used, they can grant Ali's, who has been off TV for months.

There is no link to Facts & Stats with my Thoughts because tonight I was watching the show as a fan, enjoying my favorite PPV of the year. There are too many stats to post & update. So, I will do that tomorrow, but now, here are my thoughts about the Royal Rumble. I hated it. It used to be my favorite show of the year. The Kickoff should have been everyone picking their numbers. There won't be a match it looks like. Cool opening video. The ramp is so long, but the time the wrestlers come out for the Rumble, the next Entrant will have to come out. Incredible. Rollins coming out to The Shield music & gear & from the crowd. I love Rollins' counter of the Spear with the Pedigree. I don't care who's was face or heel for this match according to Vince. I love both Rollins & Reigns. And this match was amazing until the finish. There shouldn't be a DQ Finish on PPV. Kevin Dunn, stop with the camera cuts. I'm getting nauseous. I did like Reigns' attack on Rollins. And it is supposed to turn Rollins "babyface", I don't care. I liked him when he was a heel too. Time for the Women's Royal Rumble. I love Sasha & Surprise #1 Melina being #1 & #2. I liked Sasha's run. I didn't think she would be out that quickly. I hate when someone saves someone else from getting eliminated when they are not friends. What's the point? Michelle McCool looks good. What a waste of Surprise #2: Cameron. She sucked as wrestler. She didn't even know how to pin someone. Halfway through & the Women's Royal Rumble has been OK. I loved surprise #3 in Ivory & the RTC stuff. I love Mickie James coming out to Hardcore Country. Surprise #4: Alicia Fox. Damn, Cameron could have been in the ring with her 2 idols. Summer Rae should have come out to Fandango's theme. I was not expecting Sarah Logan. I would love to see The Riott Squad VS The Bella Twins. I loved the surprise of Mighty Molly & Nikki A.S.H. going at it. Love the return of Ronda Rousey. I am so upset that Aksana wasn't in the match. That what she gets for spoiling the show. Stevie Wonder saw this final coming from a mile away, but it is still great. I don't mind Rousey coming back & facing off with Flair. Overall, it was a solid Women's Royal Rumble.I feel so bad for Doudrop & Becky Lynch. They had a good match but the was distracted because of the fire on the #WrestleMania Sign. What a match. I had a feeling that Reigns would screw Lesnar, but I wasn't expecting Heyman to turn on him. I hope Lesnar doesn't enter the Rumble. They can do Lesnar VS Reigns without him winning the Rumble. I was very disappointed in Edge & Beth Phoenix VS Maryse & Miz. I should have been much better, but it did pick up at the end. The 1st 3rd of the Royal Rumble was OK. That was a good way to use Johnny Knoxville. Surprise #1 was Ridge Holland. What was the point of teasing Rey & Dominik if they weren't in the ring together? And I hate that they count the Greatest Royal Rumble as part of the Stats. This has been an underwhelming Rumble. Surprise #2 with Drew McIntyre was good. Surprise #3 with Bad Bunny to set up a match with Sheamus. Surprise #4 was a waste with Shane McMahon. As was Surprise #5 with Brock Lesnar. At least they could have had him lay out someone to take his spot. I was very disappointed. There should have used this to elevate someone else not Lesnar. This felt like the 1995 Royal Rumble. It was that bad.

That was bullshit. An underwhelming final four of Brock, Drew, Shane and f***ing Bad Bunny. Brock wins, after losing earlier in the show. That started off with such promise and they managed to screw it up in the final third with bad eliminations, shitty surprises and a winner nobody wanted. Damn it. Bad Bunny's the one I would want to win most out of that group tbh.

As much as I feel like tonight's hate is very hyperbolic, and people saying that it's taking a toll on their mental health in a non-facetious manner borders on ridiculousness, keeping Ali in an era of unexplained "budget cuts" is very cruel and petty.

When one side can terminate a contract whenever they see fit yet the other side can be held hostage doesn't make one an independent contractor does it? The entire thing makes the WWE look like f***heads but it's not like that's a secret.
