The move to Peacock will never seem like a success to me. Its just proof that the WWE network didn't have the appeal they thought it would so they had to merge it with something successful. If anything I think Peacock was considered the bigger failure and the WWE deal was supposed to be helping Peacock. They might have been hoping for both. I remember there was always reports that the Network didn't have enough subscribers and wasn't making enough money and stuff.

It doesn't account for anyone that has Xfinity gets Peacock for free...that's a ton of people that likely watch that aren't paying and wouldn't pay for the network. I can watch Peacock but never do. Invite Katy Perry over. She wants to see your Peacock.

I seem to remember the WwE wanting 2 million and never hitting that number. Peacock meanwhile had pathetic numbers. So yes the deal was made to boost Peacocks numbers while giving WWE a nice paycheck with none of the work of their own network.

I mean, if you can get fans to come for the WWE content and stay for episodes of Columbo and Law & Order: Criminal Intent like I do, it works out. By the way, Columbo revival starring Kevin Owens, anyone? “Just one more thing…” *stunner*

This company handles it. www.endeavorstreaming.comWWE just sends the newly added content over to Peacock, who uploads it to their own servers.

I got 3 free months and looking at the app, sports and WWE are probably saving this thing. The tv selection is okay but there are so many awful looking movies.

One thing I've learned about streaming platforms is that every last one of them is full of terrible movies nobody could ever conceivably want to watch.

Almost every one I've seen is guaranteed to have How High and White Chicks.

That and, you know, WWE then having to compromise its vintage footage. Actually I wonder if classic dumps are so few and far between because NBC fears that.

I used to work in market/audience research and I can promise you that 50% of no user base in the world, nor even 50% of any segment of the user base, indicated or responded to anything. 50% of people who agreed on sign-up to market research still wouldn't actually do the call if contacted. There's zero chance in hell; those numbers are being either completely misunderstood, or presented as something they aren't. Was about to say that. If anybody got these kinds of Numbers back, I need to talk to that person about how they did this.

Great deal for me because I get it with my cable/internet bundle at no extra cost. So I’m not paying a subscriber fee anymore.

It's been a year, almost, hasn't it? First announced January 21, 2021. Think it moved in March?

I picked up Peacock to watch the NFL Playoffs and Superbowl and just happened to get the Royal Rumble as a bonus.

Do not like Peacock when watching movies. Why do streaming and cable companies for that matter, insist on filling up the screen with their movies instead of presenting them in their respective aspect ratio, whether it is 21:9 or 4:3? Those were shot and intended to be so by the director.
A little off topic, but I had to get this off me chest.

It's always been the same, pan and scan in the days before widescreen TVs were the norm would miss so much. Companies have a crazy fear of black bars on the screen.
