Vince McMahon is so hard to look at these days. He literally looks like he died and the makeup artists tried to make him up to look good for the open casket. His entire aura is so cringe and has been for several years. I guess he calls the shots when and how he wants to be used on TV. But being wheeled out in used car dealer suits to have scenes with Austin Theory every week? Just feels like the Grandpa in Texas Chainsaw Massacre to me.
Here are my questions. Did he have plastic surgery at some point and it's really starting to settle or do weird things as he ages? Are his weird and creepy mannerisms how the real Vince acts these days? I can't tell if this is still "Mr McMahon" from the attitude era/ruthless aggression eras or if this is just how he knows how to act on TV. If his interaction with theory is indication of how he is in real life, I feel sorry for the talent.

The guy is 76 and has worked himself to the bone for decades on top of abusing various drugs.
If anything he still looks good for all that.

I remember Vince in 2005, when he was out with the leg injuries, saying somewhere that he wasn't sure if he'd even return as an on screen character again since maybe the whole Mr. McMahon thing had run its course...

remember when vince thought jr was too old looking to be on tv in 2005? Remember when Vince thought Savage was too old and phased him out as a wrestler at the age of 39, but just put the title on 44-year old Brock Lesnar, reportedly so he can feud with 45-year old Bobby Lashley? Vince has had a weird psychological thing going on with age in his company, but now he's ancient, suddenly that's crumbled away.

He looks pretty good for a 76 year old that sleeps 4 hours a night.

I think it's also the Catch 22 of him wanting to try to look a little younger but all that makeup and shit ends up making him look even older. Nearly everybody has a moment when you just have to embrace your age because fighting it starts to look ridiculous and ends up being counterproductive.

Whatever about his look, his voice sounds like one of those talking action figures whose battery is about to die.

Whatever about his look, his voice sounds like one of those talking action figures whose battery is about to die. It was in the other thread about his voice, but I've read it described as "Donald Duck doing one of those interviews where they hide their identity by turning their voice deeper."

"Look how old the old guy is. He's just so old!" It's not just his age. My 85-year-old father who has had AAA surgery, has COPD decades after having had TB, has one kidney, has Type 2 diabetes and is held together by duct tape and rage, has far more energy than Vince is demonstrating these days. If I were an investor, I'd be wondering why he's still in the executive suite at this point.

I’ve seen people much worse off in their 60s. Of course he should have retired years ago. But he’s the kind of guy that only retires to a coffin.

The average investor doesn’t care about the quality of the TV shows from a fan’s perspective as long as they keep making profit. It sucks, but it’s true.

He looks and sounds like a Duracell bunny about to run out of juice. Between that and the whole Jake struggling for breath on national TV thing last year, sometimes people just need to bow out for the sake of their remaining health.

I think a combination of HD TV, him just being significantly older, along with probably not the best choices with makeup, team up to not help. He really did seem to age 10 years when he had his head shaved, as opposed to Ric, who aged like 15 years in Evolution, which I now in retrospect wonder if it was Ric ramping up his drinking, hmm....

My questions were did he have botched plastic surgery that is not aging well? Is how he acts on TV now the real vince mcmahon or is he still playing a character? My wife saw him on TV last night and gasped loudly. He just looks terrible and it's not just the age.

From all accounts, their view of his importance is wildly different than fans.
