It's been announced that New Japan Pro Wrestling will be back on airing in the states.
Starting on March 3rd, New Japan makes its return to AXS TV, airing Thursday nights at 10.
This is good news for the promotion, gaining ground and viewership in the states

Neat. I wonder if it will be the same show as that airs on Roku or if it will be different.

It's good that they'll be able to reconnect with the American audience now. They were getting decent ratings during their first tenure with AXS

Hopefully with a halfway decent announce team. Or at least running the English commentary that happened during the matches.

Maybe we'll get some special live events that'll air on there

Maybe we'll get some special live events that'll air on there If they have plans to return to touring in the US, it would definitely make sense to try and get some airtime for New Japan Strong at the very least

This is definitely a great development for them. They have had a lot of setbacks these past few years, but being cut off from AXS was one of the big blows, I feel, even if obviously the pandemic, injuries, and losing access to a lot of their most over gaijin were probably the biggest problems.

Oh this is huge huge news! I haven't followed the product since it got bounced from Axs the first time, super hype it's coming back.

Wonder if they'll also show some STRONG/NJOA stuff on the time they're given
Either way this is just good news for wrestling in general. If you're gonna open more Forbidden Doors in the future, New Japan having a medium of broadcast in America is good again.

This is great news. NJPW on AXS is how I got to watch the promotion in the first place and I became an instant fan.
Between Impact and NJPW, Thursday nights are going to be great for wrestling.
