Would anyone else like to see a live-action Punch-Out movie? I'd love seeing all these villains brought to the big screen.

A little off topic, I remember having an old nintendo strategy guide for for the games that were out at the time for NES. The backstory for Doc and Mac was surprisingly depressing. Apparently Doc was one of the best boxers of his time until he succumbed to his alcohol problem. As for Mac he was a drifter who would fight in the streets for money I think. Makes the game all the more inspirational.

Don Flamenco.
How can somebody go from being so easy to knock out to being so impossible to even land a decent punch on? I feel like The Angry Video Game Nerd playing Rocky on the Sega Master System. Don the first time is like fighting Apollo, capable on any person as long as they remember not to tire Little Mac out too much. Then you see him again and it's like he's Clubber Lang.
The following is actually what I said when I first fought against Don for the second time:
"Okay, Flamenco Uppercut! Dodge! Punc- HE BLOCKED IT! HE ISN'T SUPPOSED TO DO THAT!!! Move, Mac! Move! Not to the ground! GET UP! GET UP! FAST COUNT! MARIO SWERVED AND HE'S HEEL NOW! THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN APOCALYPTIC END! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Seriously, that's what I said. I was so shocked about how hard it was to land anything on him that I needed to stick my head in the freezer until my glasses stopped melting. Okay, well, it wasn't that bad, but it felt like it.

I always thought that game was pretty easy. All you have to do is remember the patterns in which your opponent throws his punches. This is especially true with Tyson. I havent played the game in years so would I be able to beat it just by picking it up and playing it? Probably not, but I could probably figure it out within a matter of a few hours. It really wasnt that hard of a game. I found Tyson to be fairly easy once you memorized all his moves
