First WWE and now the NFL are giving us on the other side of the Atlantic some help by having games on Saturday which is much easier to stay up for. Itβll he see which Eagles can and will start tonight.
Oh what do people think about single seasons records broken this weekend given thereβs an extra game ? I think they should stand just as much as any record from 1978 onwards(which the last time the regular season was lengthened) where two games were added.

Especially considering that the number of games per season will likely change again soon. In all the other sports, season game counts have changed multiple times and all records have still been ok.

Records are legitimate and will stand as much
Just the nature of the beast, rules, number of games, etc are always going to change and it is a slippery slope to be trying to say what should and shouldn't count.

I have a gut feeling that there will be an injury where a team loses their superstar and they were playing when they didn't need to be. And it will be to a non-Wildcard team. And they will lose, badly in their first game. Like "non-competitive game" bad.

The chiefs put the first points on the board with a travis Kelce TD. The field looks a bit slippy going on the chiefs kicker slipping. The broncos offensive production has been two very quick three and outs.

A roughing the kicker penalty gets the broncos a fresh set of downs.

7-7 after a drew lock run for a TD.

I have the feeling that once the Chiefs streak was broken, they were going to struggle to regain their footing.
Wouldn't be surprised if they got ousted next week, regardless of the outcome of this game.

Who had drew lock rushing for 2 TDs in the first half on their bingo cards because I didnβt. Only for him slipping while running again he could have made big yardage. 14-10 broncos nearing the end of the first half in Denver.

The broncos defense need to do a better job at tackling. 17-14 chiefs.

The bengals and patriots are obviously pulling for the broncos as a Denver win brings them into the conversation for the AFC no1 seed. It still needs the titans to lose tomorrow but itβs an easier route if the chiefs lose tonight.

Sloppy stuff from Denver. They still have a chance to come back but it was looking like Denver would be up 8 at the very least.

Good response from Denver after a terrible turnover.

If the chiefs play like that in the playoffs they wonβt go far. They were lucky the broncos fumbled.
