Honestly, considering how snakebitten it was in some respects, I'm kind of impressed. I'm sure AEW and Turner are probably satisfied, too.

It's a pretty solid number given it wasn't a particularly loaded card + AEW had already done 3 hours of TV that week + there was strong football competition. If you put on a huge match for the next special (like a Kenny/Bryan rematch for example), you could probably reach a .32-.35 in that time slot. I also wonder if Turner looks at that spot and thinks about moving Rampage. I'm sure there are a million other considerations but it seems like the AEW audience is more able to watch a show on a Saturday in a good time slot vs. 10 PM on a Friday night.

Rampage switching to Saturdays at 8pm seems like a no brainer, tbh. You could still have the TNT specials 4 times a year at 9pm on a Saturday with Rampage leading into them.

Solid number for what the card was. Shows how much better an 8 pm time slot can be than a 10 pm.

It was up against an NFL game that got over 20 million viewers in spite of it being meaningless.
You take out all the football-related stuff on ESPN and it's second for the night on cable.

It'd be a good compromise, with the taped Rampage airing at 8, then Saturday Fight Night at 9. For the live fans at Saturday Fight Night, the hour before they go live would be Dark matches.

Pretty good number despite the weak card on paper and strong NFL competition.

Very impressive number considering the card wasn't the strongest. AEW had 3 shows last week that thumped NXT in the demo, I'm sure that'll make Vince happy lol
Also yes to Rampage being moved to a live Saturday 8-10pm tineslot. Time to maje it a proper 2 hour B show. Rampage kinda feels like Sunday night heat rather than Smackdown so time to change that. They easily have the roster depth for 2 two hour TV shows, and there's probably even more talent to come with Ember Moon, Toni Storm, Keith Lee and Gargano all free agents and would all add something

That card was ass so that’s a good number. Definitely agree that Saturday night for Rampage would be an improvement.

The fact that Dave felt that he should mention them losing to a Halmark show is hilarious. Man twitter is crazy.

Not bad for what was essentially a decent episode of Rampage on a different night.
I wonder if they can do better with the next special with some adjustments?

Considering this show seemed doomed from the start in how TK looked like he was expecting 2 hours and did not get it, that's a good number.
I really feel like TNT needs to consider putting Rampage on Saturdays. Use Rampage to lead into the specials then and you GET your two hours of programming and better overall viewership I would imagine.
I know TNT likes that Rampage powers through in a deathslot, but if you want to see actual growth to the show, I think you need to consider the Saturday move.

I would LOOOOVE Rampage on Saturdays. The fight night shows would feel more special having a live Rampage with them.

The fact that Dave felt that he should mention them losing to a Halmark show is hilarious. Man twitter is crazy. I think it was just to give context to the Hallmark movie being the only non-NFL-related showing to do better than BOTB. The Hallmark thing was #10 @ .29 while BOTB was #11 @ .27. Everything #1-9 was NFL football, a pregame, or SportsCenter.

The Challenge and Real Housewives are constantly competition for the wrestling shows, it's just different audiences still getting big key demos

Impressive how much the main event gained despite the strong competition.

Beitt is still popular and people forget that Riho was a rating draws before too, i I think she is the female wrestler that most consistently gets ratings up
