Grubhub appears to be sending codes for 3 months of Peacock Premium ($5 ad supported tier) to some U.S. customers with Grubhub accounts. The codes have a listed expiration date of April 30, 2022. You will presumably have to add a payment method to redeem and manually cancel auto renewal later. I've only ever used my account to make one order so they may have sent you a code even if you are an infrequent customer.

Some of these streaming services are getting desperate. Right now you can get Paramount Plus for 99 cents a month for the first two months.

Its like they dont understand that there is a limited consumer base and most of them will not sign up for every service. So the late comers will have a very hard time unseating the big dogs like Netflix and have to settle for being niche networks. But they cant be profitable being niche.

Sounds like how Hasbro Pulse did a "buy anything in December and get a month of free Disney Plus" deal, right after Disney announced that subscription counts were below expectations. The desperation to get enough growth to satisfy the stock market is palpable.

The desperation to get enough growth to satisfy the stock market is palpable. Yeah Netflix just had its fastest stock drop ever, to the tune of 50 billion. Why? Because it barely failed to meet its self imposed goal of 221 million subscribers. You know, just 3% of the worlds population. How dare they not continue to grow at an exponential pace. How can anyone expect to continue to invest in these losers.

Streaming services are doomed to collapse into a group pause premium service to have the best of all of them. Cable 2.0
Netflix has become garbage since the marvel shows ended and oitnb ended. They just went nuts with expensive “content” and care much less about the actual quality of stuff. It’s one of the few I do t have now.
I really like paramount plus because it has all of the old Nickelodeon and Comedy Central presents stuff. Hulu for king of the hill and random movies. Shudder for horror and Joe Bob, Disney for kids and Star Wars stuff should I ever feel frisky.
I have peacock because I have Comcast internet. It’s free and no extra charge and ive never used it once. And I’ll especially never use it now that it’s home if wwe network and “premium live events”.

Codes are scheduled to expire today, so check your emails from Grubhub if you are a customer.
I accidentally paid for one month of Peacock, but I got another code from Grubhub for some reason. It worked on my account, so I'm good through SummerSlam.
