So these winners became losers and failed to win a World title. Going back, which of these failures would you change and make them win the big one?
Kennedy Cena Sandow Corbin Strowman Otis

While there might be some novelty to seeing Kennedy cash in, but as someone who saw both his and Sandow's run in Impact, as well as witnessing the perils of Baron Corbin main event pushes, quite frankly none of these seem like significantly big missteps as far as booking opportunities.
Otis trying to beat Roman might have made for a decent moment, given his status as a sympathetic babyface, I guess.

Well changing Kennedy's requires changing a few different bad things that happened to him so that would create a pretty different scenario. He's always someone who I wondered if he could've made it if he had a few breaks go his way so I'll go with him.

Hands down, Mr. Kennedy!
Because of the five failed cash-ins (excluding John Cena for obvious reasons), he's the one that had the most potential to be a long term presence in the main event picture if he wouldn't have had such bad luck during his WWE run.

I can’t imagine a worse fate in life than living through a Damien Sandow world title run

Say what you will about him now but in 2007 Kennedy was actually over and credible, he was just unlucky he got injured as I'm sure he would have cashed-in successfully.
Baron Corbin, Damien Sandow and Otis had no business sniffing a world title so I don't know why they had the briefcase in the first place. I hated the way Sandow's cash-in failed though - he might not have been a main event calibre guy but failing to beat an injured Cena just made him look like a bitch.

Yeah, no issue with Otis losing the briefcase, it let them give Miz the belt as a reward for what they were asking of him at Mania. The bigger issue is how they handled Otis afterward.

I was a massive Kennedy mark in 07 so I'd go for him.

Sandow. The problem wasn't that he failed, it was the way it happened, losing to one-armed John Cena.
I don't know which specifically but I would have had some failures earlier than Sandow as well.

Gonna say Corbin. Dude was a legit ME guy in the making throughout 2017, then he lost to Mahal in less than two minutes and he was branded as midcard for life.

I can’t imagine a worse fate in life than living through a Damien Sandow world title run Bruh…. Hot take. Khali’s better than Sandow. As a wrestler? No. But as an act that could feasibly draw money as a heel? Miles above

I'll give Cena 2012 a shot here.
Cena wins and goes on to feud with a hot Ryback.
Ryback beats Cena at Summerslam in a face vs. face match. Handshake.
Punk defeats Ryback via interference from The Shield.
Punk drops the belt to Rock as planned.
Rock vs. Cena 2 if they want.
This whole 2012 Punk reign doesn't get stale because we get a few different reigns in between and RYBACK gets a small WWE title reign. Everyone wins.

Strowman. It was interesting when Cena lost, and none of the other guys were champ material (even if I do like Damien Sandow quite a bit)

I want to say Kennedy, but Edge cashing in on Taker solidified him as a main stay in the main event. So I’ll say Strowman because he should have beaten Brock.

Otis for the simple reason that it would piss of my friend and i'd like to see his reaction. Im a horrible friend.
Kennedy winning would have made no difference. He'd have lost it to serve his suspension for the Signature Pharmacy scandal shortly afterwards.
Sandow would have sucked. If it was original pink trunks and gown Sandow then it would have been better.
