With all that’s been going on, I’m sure HHH isn’t too happy with his father in law, and I’m sure Steph also doesn’t agree with what Vince does. Whether the company gets sold or if it happens under Vince’s regime, can we see Hunter and possibly Steph leave the wwe?

If it was sold and the new owners did not have a major position for Triple H then I could see him leaving. I dont see him going to AEW or anything. But I dont see him sticking around to be a producer or anything. And he especially wouldnt stick around if the new owners kept people like Pritchard and Dunn.
Steph I see leaving whether Vince sells or not. She has been trying to rehab WWEs image so when she goes into politics she does not have to distance herself from the company as much as Linda did. But she will not have a position there anymore.

I think it's nice to say as a fantasy "what if" Triple H leaves. Paul Levesque, a WWE lifer, creates another promotion to show he can hang with the best.
If anyone were to start a company, he'd have a chance. He's built a reputation with all these NXT guys from 2013-2021. That's a decade and most of his guys aren't even employed by WWE anymore (sad, isn't it)
But unless something insane happens, like Kevin Dunn taking over the company, I doubt he or Stephanie leaves... and it's almost impossible Stephanie leaves.

Hunter, yeah. I think the health issues he's had will be more a factor than anything. Steph, not unless they sell.

Yes, Steph will move to somewhere like Florida and run for office in the next five years. Both she and Hunter will step down to focus on that and to distance themselves from the mass firings. If she's unsuccessful she'll return to a management role within months.
They've spent a lot of money and effort trying to rehabilitate Steph for a reason, they've hired a full time PR person for her and made her the focal point for media coverage of the company's charity work, moreso than the actual talent doing the work. They wouldn't be doing that if there was no plan beyond wrestling, they looked at what happened with Linda and are trying to soften Steph and make her a girlboss role model before she runs, so she doesn't have to run on her association with Voldermort alone.
She will never give up her shares and Vince isn't leaving so she can return to a management position any time she pleases, it's not like the regular shareholders can stop her.

Yeah it's possible especially after Trips's health issues. He can easily say working full-time is too much of an issue for him and leave I'm sure. As for Steph, that's less so.

If there's a sale, not only would both leave the company, both would probably distance themselves from her father. I don't think the McMahons are nearly as close a family as they once were - there seems to be some deep, simmering conflict going on behind the scenes with the family.

I don't think they will. I feel like it's less likely Steph gets a political job if she does leave, though, and more some kind of cushy corporate job elsewhere. People have gotten more out of less. Like, yes, she got the job to begin with due to blood, but that's not exactly, uhh, uncommon in the corporate world. She's probably got enough of a resume to get hooked up with a golden parachute at like, Orville Reddenbacher or something random like that.
Triple H, I could see him maybe running a wrestling school or something if he could bump at all, or even if not, and just be less hands-on. I don't see him getting into a promoter or performer job elsewhere if he did get forced entirely out of the company, though, even if he sold all of his shares. I just don't see him ever directly competing with Vince on principle.

What's with all of this "Steph going into politics" talk? Just because one family member got into politics and even got into the cabinet of the former POTUS, doesnt mean all of them will.

If they sell, I could see Stephanie sticking around for PR reasons and having some continuity with the old regime but Hunter could just retire or pursue something else if it's not the family business anymore. If they don't sell, then no.

If Vince sells, I can absolutely see them going. Probably not likely to carry on in wrestling, mind.

Triple H isnt some benevolent soul out there for the sake of wrestling, he wants the biggest wrestling company on the planet.
And Stephanie yeh no way, even if she went the Shane route and tried to get command of some other company, no other company could try and push her as this revolutionary feminist as WWE does.
Maybe if its sold, but even then i would expect more fired than quit

Even if Stephanie did leave, her patent on having invented feminism would open doors for her

I like reading this thread and pretending any comment about Steph is about Shiv from Succession.
Tom and hhh aren't such a good comparison... although you never know.

On one hand, Triple H knows where his bread is buttered. On the other hand, he seems to believe himself the Jesus of pro wrestling, so I can see him splitting. If I had to put money on it, I'd go with Triple H leaving.
Steph...nope. Her value is totally in her last name and who her daddy is, her value to a company that isn't family owned is minimal.

I mean, Shane has left multiple times. Remember who made the call to fire Prichard back in 2008? I'd honestly give it a 50/50
