This is a collection of digitalized speech samples used in NES games:
They each fall into one of two categories:
1). Very clear and understandable.
or
2). Nearly or totally unintelligible.

Still incredible they got the whole Dirty Harry line in the game. That had to have eaten up a lot of space.

Jesus, some of those were downright terrifying. The first ones I remember were Double Dribble and Bases Loaded. I used to play those games all the time with my dad.

This is a collection of digitalized speech samples used in NES games: They each fall into one of two categories: 1). Very clear and understandable. or 2). Nearly or totally unintelligible. What game is at the :42 mark where the guy says: “Big money. I would buy that for a dollar.”

Big Bird's Hide and Speak is really impressive. Glad it got a brief nod here. The rest of the voice work in that game is absolutely amazing for its time.
