It’ll be interesting to see what kind of audience they get for the NXT show, because you’re thinking they’re hoping to attract a lot of hardcore fans… But the hardcore fans probably wouldn’t even piss on NXT now if they were on fire.
The stupid thing would be if they filled the joint but booed the whole show and/or chanted names of people who aren’t there anymore. Yeah, that’ll show them, protesting how they ruined the show by giving them your money so you could do so.

I just don't see them filling out an arena with the new NXT.
The interest clearly isn't there.

And this is a named event they’re doing, so its gonna have matches that are ostensibly meant to be the top ones that the brand is producing right now. They’ll be going for an arena, even a smallish one like the one they did for Takeover when they were last there for WM. |

If it's a usual Wrestlemania weekend with lots of indy shows happening in the area I can't see many of the hardcore fans choosing to spend money to go watch NXT2.0 over some of the other super indy shows. Walter, sorry Gunther, vs Bronn Breakker is probably the only sort of big match they could put on, that might get people to go. |

Interesting that they seem to be running the Stand and Deliver name over again, since I imagine as far as stripping out Triple H influences from NXT go, metalcore medleys featuring Adam Ant covers feel like they'd be one of the first things to go.
