One of the smaller things I don’t get is this weird thing that Vince has to like something for it to work and get on TV. I’m not saying he can’t reject ideas or not have stuff go through but if you don’t like a song for someone but it connects people to a performer, who cares if you like it? There’s no effect on you besides, at worst, making people happy for a few minutes and at best connecting them to a performer. And that is what more than anything kills this f***ing company. If Vince does not like it then it aint happening even if every other fan loves it....does Vince like it? nope? alright scrap it. at least HHH admits he doesnt get something but just rolls with it, think it was Blue Jeans he didnt understand it but he let them roll and other things too....edit - someone else said this!! Also Sheamus's current theme is much better than his old one

Has anyone mentioned yet that HHH didn't get Blue Balls, but he still kept putting her out there because the crowd dug her?

I've said it before, but I love that in AEW it's like:
Hey what's that song? You like that song? You want to use that song? Let me get that song for you. I'll buy you that song. Here I bought you that song. You can use this song now. I bought it for you. Yay, have fun!
In WWE it's a f***ing contract negotiation.

So many people with music made since 2015ish you have no clue who it is until you see the Tron/Entrance because the music is missing something memorable in the opening, there's no real "catch". I can't be the only person who absolutely could not tell the difference between the beginnings of Kevin Owens' theme and Roman Reigns' previous theme, and had to wait for them to actually arrive to know who was coming.

Sums up WWE's problems from 2001 onward.
If an increasingly senile old man doesn't like it, it doesn't happen.

How? Kevin Owens theme and the Shield theme sound nothing alike... some I could maybe see... like the time where Seth, Bayley, and like 2 other people started with heavenly choir music? Sure... I never mixed it up but some had issues with American Alphas theme and someone else's who escapes me currently. Owens theme is probably one of the more unique just a beat theme they have... since very few of them are as so low tempo and start off pretty low key...

They really don't sound anything alike.
the tone is completely different not to mention Roman's starts with a big drum hit and Kevin's is a guitar riff...

Personally ive always enjoyed Sheamus's current theme ovee Lobster Head. I actually think his current theme is badass. Written in My Face is just a bit ott for me. I like them both but i prefer his current one. To each their own.

He hates Written in My Face, but he is absolutely fine with half the roster having the same generic buttrock sounding theme song at once?
Ok then.

They own the songs - unless its a gimmick thing, i cant see why they kick up a big fuss about it...they should also reuse/recycle some of the themes on uncaged instead of the generic crap defrebel throws up

Sheamus has had 2 themes in WWE, and both have been complete bangers. Dude's lucky.

That may eventually come back and bite though, as if they want to do an AEW Network or release physical media etc. in the future, but no longer have the rights, it can turn in to a greedy pissing contest. Hence the Network edits and things we have now.

He'll come out to Hornswoggle's music one day and Vince'll think Sheamus got exactly what he wanted.
