With the news with Netflix stock recently, I am not surprised. Streaming services in general are going to have a hard time this year.
I can definitely see some stream only WWE events to boost viewership.

Thats a much different spin then what was said a few weeks ago.
"A new report from Puck has revealed various details about WWE’s viewership figures on Peacock.
According to the report, over 3 million subscribers to Peacock have watched WWE content since the content was moved to the subscription service back in March of 2020. Not only that but of the 1.1 million subscribers to the WWE Network in the US, 1 million of them retained their subscriptions when it moved to Peacock.
Finally, the report notes that over 50% of the 3 million Peacock subscribers who watched WWE content on the service had indicated that they signed up for the site because of its WWE content.”

I honestly don't watch Peacock at all except for "Premium Live Events" for WWE and the occasional Old Raw when I'm extremely bored and don't feel like watching anything else. I haven't felt the need to rewatch The Office since it left Netflix.
edit: Also EPL, but Everton has been complete buttcheeks this season so that hasn't been as much as usual.

Whenever people talked about cutting the cord, everyone always said it'd end up costing more than a traditional bundle and they're right. You're going to see a lot of consolidation and services going away or companies working with the cable service providers to provide discounted streaming service and internet bundles like you're starting to see pop up.

Yeah 200 is pretty much the going rate for a good cable/internet package so gives you a lot of wiggle room to save money unless you’re just subscribing to nearly every streaming service there is.

I have Netflix Hulu/Disney/ESPN+ bundle Paramount Peacock-free with Xfinity My kid in college has prime so he uses my services and I use his prime and I also do something similar with a friend for HBO max. So I'm way under 100 bucks also if you know how to use kodi you don't need these services at all but children wife etc.

I have:
Paramount + Netflix HBOMax Peacock Starz Hulu ESPN+ Disney+ Tubi Amazon Prime Video
I'm going to be real honest with you... Peacock is the one I use the LEAST. I even paid for the ad-free version for whatever reason, but other than for Football, it's been essentially useless. I gave up on network TV almost a decade ago, and to be frank, I've seen nothing out of NBC to warrant paying for it after Football season is over.
That's not even getting into the other streaming services (I think Paramount+ is pretty well useless beyond Star Trek, as an example). The reality is that the streaming services have become too diluted that only those with MASSIVE media libraries (Disney and Warner) or those that got into the game early (Netflix) are going to stand a chance.
The harder reality is that all of these media conglomerates vastly overestimate the worth and value of their libraries, and what we're seeing is the market at large voicing that. Glad Vince got his money when he did, but nobody should expect a similar deal in the future, I think.

The service is ass, off-rip. Trying to rewind might as well be trying to decipher the philosopher’s stone.

My TV just feels like it's in pain when it tries to load Peacock. It's a terrible platform. I miss the Network.

I had Peacock for a bit but couldn't justify shelling out the money basically entirely for Law & Order.
That said next month I might sign up entirely for Marry Me because I will never stop being stunned and endlessly amused that that movie is actually happening.

The fortunate part of Peacock is that it’s cheaper and for Comcast subscribers, it’s free and u can watch it on your TV.

The fortunate part of Peacock is that it’s cheaper and for Comcast subscribers, it’s free and u can watch it on your TV. For the time being, funnily enough, so is its international launch since Comcast owns Sky and it’s slowly appeared on Sky TV boxes across Europe.
