From the Observer: Someone in ad sales was able to get ROH viewership info. The show was getting about 400,000 viewers per week in syndication on the various Sinclair channels and 175,000 were in the 25-54 age group.
That's honestly higher than I thought it would be. I know Sinclair is everywhere but that 25-54 number is around what NXT does in 18-49.

I can confirm these only because Joe Koff has said these publicly, he's an officer of the company, and can get in really big trouble if these were intentionally inaccurate. They've been slightly higher, they've been slightly lower, but we're generally in this range each week.

Those are honestly fairly impressive numbers. I do hope that whatever shape ROH takes in the future that it can continue to be part of the ecosystem of wrestling.

That's pretty impressive given the wildly different times the syndicated shows tended to air at.

That does genuinely put them as the number three promotion for mainstream exposure in the US, even in their current situation, I guess you'd expect them to get way more viewers than Impact on AXS but it's still more than expected, like almost triple.
It might benefit all of the alternative scene if they open their doors and begin airing other matches from other promotions

That's pretty impressive given the wildly different times the syndicated shows tended to air at. Honestly, being syndicated probably helps to a certain extent. My Fox station airs it at 4pm on Sunday afternoons (it also airs 11am and 11pm on Saturdays. Really strong channel flipping times) so I used to watch it pretty regularly because there was a damn good chance I was already flipping through sports at 4 on Sunday afternoon. I feel that flexibility helps them catch a lot of random people who might not necessarily seek out the show, like myself. You give it Impact’s time slot in prime time on Thursdays and I’d be willing to bet money it didn’t get the same viewers it did in syndication.

Broadcast television is mostly watched my older demographics (so plus 55). This is why the 18-34 demographics is so prized by television companies and advertisers because actually capturing those viewers is difficult.

Any word on what ROH's total viewership is when including their viewers from Fite and the ROH website / Honorclub? That's how I watch since there are no Sinclair stations in my region (Northern California) and I know I'm not alone.

Second, and I'm only going by a publicly communicated number that was stated in 2020 and nothing I know beyond that, the average total I believe was stated at north of 600K in the US. I'll try to find the interview but I can't remember for the life of me where it was. I think a trade magazine but 🤷♂️ It's been higher and it's been lower but it's remarkably consistent.

Honestly really happy the numbers are that high.
Company has just been so damn fun the last two years, it deserves to get eyes on it.
