Man got RKO’d like the biggest goofy and got tossed like yesterday’s trash.
Yeah, it’s over, with an emphasis

Yeah it's over. They shuffled him back over to Smackdown where it's clear that the only person beating Roman is Lesnar.

Yep, he's 100% the one taking the fall for Raw's ratings collapsing while he was champion, especially with them rebounding somewhat since he lost it. I highly doubt he ever touches it again.

It was over the second he lost it. I'm genuinely surprised people held out any hope that the case was otherwise this long.

Oh, without a doubt… I mean, I feel like it’s been over for weeks, but there were still fans holding out hope for him winning the men’s Royal Rumble.
However, after tonight, you can undeniably and definitively say it’s over.

Yeah sadly. pretty bummed as when they split him from Kofi and Xavier I thought they were clearly building him to be the guy to dethrone Roman. Then they move him to Raw and it seems like they're going to build him up as the guy on the show and... they got cold feet. It's like they clearly planned for Big E to be champ but then panicked for a rating bump to rush the belt to him then... they had no idea what they wanted to do.
Big E will be over still but man did he get screwed over

I think I would have been ok with him being dumped but like..the announcers didn’t even acknowledge it. It was insulting.

He done.

It was over the moment Lesnar beat him for the title. Like, I don't know how many times I gotta say it but anytime someone's facing Lesnar, Reigns, Becky, Charlotte or Ronda your title run is over. They're like the Power Rangers. You'll never "outbook" these people. It says nothing about how they view Big E, it just means that hey he can't surpass these people like nobody else can surpass these people.
That's the way this company works.

He didn't catch on with the crowd how they hoped.
He's over as part of the New Day but when his music hit, I could've heard a pin drop.
I'm not saying it's all his fault but this is how they're thinking.
Lashley should've never lost the title in my eyes.

Mickie James is working for another company, holding their championship, and it felt like she got a better showing in the Rumble than the recent ex-WWE Champion did.
What's that tell you?

As a face 100% over, they may return to the well after a heel turn sometime in late 2022.
When his contract is expiring they may try again to get him to re-sign. If one of TND goes to AEW the other two would follow which would upset Vince.

IF anything comes out of this, let's just give Xavier a WWE title reign. And then we can say New Day made 3 world champions. And call it a day.

Who was the last person to successfully defend a title against one of those five? Not win it from them, defend it. I want to say Asuka did it vs Becky a few Rumbles ago.

Yeah, he got f***ed
Lost the title due to circumstances out his hands and now he is cold and lost all momentum and got thrown out the Rumble with no fanfare. He needs Kofi and Xavier back with him

For now, yeah. I won’t say “done forever”, but he’s not going to be winning it back any time soon.
I do think we just need to be rational about the situation in terms of his current standing, though. The outcry about this situation gives off the impression he’s at the same level as a lower card 24/7 jobber (“But his Rumble showing, though”… It wasn’t great, but most of that Rumble was junk like that), when in reality he’s just back in his old spot in New Day, which is still above a good two-thirds of the roster.

He's not completely dead as some would make you to believe But he is firmly behind the top guys now but back to Sheamus level which is good but he's got to wait his turn again

I'm sure when New Day's contracts come around again AEW will put together a very compelling offer, both financially and creatively.
