I can't see what he'd realistically contribute besides an "Oh shit" pop.
But in fairness, I've never much liked Shane.

As long as he has no creative power and does what they tell him, there's certainly value in a very brief Shane shock run

Only for a one show laugh.

I sort of love this question being asked after four years of storylines where he gets the last laugh over full time talent and make them look like total goobers.
Basically, F*** no, man.

I don't picture it happening. It'd be kind of interesting in a historical sense, but I feel like if he was going to pop up elsewhere, it'd be something like attending a GCW or PWG show or something. Whatever issue he and Vince have right now, I don't think he would want to directly compete with WWE. That's not a bell he can unring.

Where is the "F*** NO" Option?

No.
Just no.
The Mcmahon family vs wrestling angle has gone on for two decades, it needs to stop. No McMahons on TV in any company going forward, full stop.

For the sheer madness of it, yes. Can’t see how it would help the on-screen product though.

Absolutely not. It wouldn't even be worth it for the weeks worth of "shock" value.

Dynamite beating RAW in the ratings because of Shane McMahon appearing there wouldn’t be the kind of flex some would think it is.

It would be exciting for a week or two until people remember it’s Shane McMahon. Like, I’ll admit it would be a huge moment, but the novelty would wear off.

I want him to show up as a stable leader. Cuts a promo as if him and his group of goobers (Maybe like Big Show, Mark Henry) are going to start taking things over to make AEW "more popular. Bring in some celebrities to win some matches for public exposure." because "I have lots of personal experience in making a great wrestling company."
Basically Shane and his goobers get steamrolled after about a month or so and are never seen again.
